Title Sweet Home
I wonder why Netflix is not promoting this AT ALL even though it's only 3 weeks away and it could be a worldwide hit if it's well-made? For comparison, they've been promoting Alice in Borderland (another big-budget Asian drama) a lot since the beginning of October and it comes out just a week before this. Tbh it makes me feel like Netflix doesn't expect this to do well, but I hope I'm wrong and they were just waiting for the CGI to be finished.

What do you think of the monsters in the preview?
We barely got to see them in that Japanese preview, but as fan of the webtoon I think they look alright, better than I expected. That being said, I feel like it's impossible to truly judge until we get a proper trailer.

Title 18 Again
I started watching this last night just for the sake of watching something and turns out it's SO good? The acting is great and I think I've cried in pretty much every episode so far (I'm up to the 4th one) and I've laughed so much as well. Also, I love all the little references to famous dramas and movies, they're really the icing on the (for now perfect) cake. I'm kinda worried it will start dragging at some point soon, but I hope it continues to be this good.
On Stranger Season 2 Oct 24, 2020
Went through this in just 4 days and have to say I loved, even if it wasn't as perfect as the first season. I went in with rather low expectations after reading many people here talking about how boring it was, but it caught my attention since the first episode with all the mysteries it set up right away. The following episodes were a bit slow, yes, but the topics they deal with are fascinating. Kudos to the writer for being so straightforward about corruption and power abuses and not glamorizing everything or making things unrealistic. Also, everything is just SO worth it once you get to the second half.
Just like in the first season, the best parts were those that Shi Mok and Yeo Jin, together, cause Jo Seung Woo and Bae Doo Na have that natural chemistry (not necessarily romantic, though) that makes their characters' interactions so charming and natural no matter what they're up to. I'm definitely hoping for a season 3 with all the key cast members returning once again.

Well, what a fantastic ride this was. I love everything Lee Kyung Mi has directed, but with this she officially enters my favorite directors list. It was all so weird and confusing, and yet it was engaging, fun and interesting, that is some truly amazing directing there. Jung Yu Mi is brilliant here and Nam Joo Hyuk just keeps getting better (I've always enjoyed his acting even if it wasn't perfect (except for BOTWG), but he was already superb in The Great Battle and The Light In Your Eyes, so I don't get why people are only now seeing that he's pretty good lol).
Tbh, I wish it had been at least 10 episodes long, cause the show's lore and world-building are very original and fascinating, and it should have been more explored. I really hope Netflix does at least another season, even if the ending was wrapped up quite nicely.

P.S. Why is the rating so low if everyone in the comments seems to have enjoyed it quite a lot? Like, there are barely any negative comments and it's not even at 8 right now, wtf.

Like, what was all that about the armpit hair, why would tying it solve everything? And wtf is "cushion hunting"…
I'm still confused, but thank you so much for answering :)

This was one of my most anticipated dramas of 2020 and now that I'm halfway through I can say it's not disappointing. It's easily one of the weirdest things I've ever seen but the same time it's also strangely engaging and fun. Like, I just can't stop watching. When the first episode ended I was like "WTH has an hour passed already?". It just flew by, and I can't remember the last time that happened. As much as I'm enjoying this, I admit there quite a few confusing things lol. Anyway, I'm loving this so much and I'm so sad I only have 3 more episodes to go :(

Wow, those last few episodes were truly awesome, a great addition to the original storyline that actually works. I'm really glad the drama turned out so good, cause I think I liked it as much as the movie. The episodes in the middle dragged a bit, but I really loved how the drama focused even more on the characters and on trying to make the "heists" as realistic as possible. Also, the acting was brilliant, which was key for the story to work. Jaonaay was particularly good, he's a real discovery, I couldn't believe when I checked his profile and this drama turned out to be his first project ever.

I was both excited and worried about this drama because the movie is one of my favourites of the last few years,…
Wasn't the time jump between episodes 3 and 4 kinda weird? Like, they were in 10th grade and suddenly they're starting 12th grade but nothing else has changed at all? Maybe I wasn't paying enough attention or I just don't know how the Thai school system works, but I'm confused right now...

I was both excited and worried about this drama because the movie is one of my favourites of the last few years, but I've already watched three episodes and I'm so surprised about how good it is. I didn't think it would manage to capture the pace and the energy of the original, but so far it's managing quite well and the acting is just SO good. The new plot threads that are being introduced are slightly soapy but they should shake things up enough for this to be as fun as the original. Can't wait to keep going!

Well, I can't assure you will like it, but I also didn't expect to like it that much and ended up loving it. Anyway, I'm glad I could be of help :)

Wow, that was surprisingly great. This show really improved a lot in every season, but this was definitely of many similarly-themed full length dramas. It made me feel really nostalgic about my college life, even if it wasn't that similar to this. I'm definitely looking forward to Dear M, cause I wanna see if the writer can deliver something this good with longer episodes, and the Jimin-Haneul romance is exactly the kind that I love.

Can I ask why you want to know all that stuff if you don't want to watch it?

Anyway, here goes SPOILERS:
1. It's never specified if they divorce, she goes to the US to live with the kid and study, and they seem to be on good terms.
2. No, she doesn't, she actually helps a lot in taking him down.
3. Nope, he actually loses his job.
4. Yes, he definitely seems very very happy in the last scene.

I hope this helps you.

Title Love Playlist Season 3 Spoiler
The first two seasons were cute but that was it, I watched them because they were short and sweet. This season was such a vast improvement over the previous two, even if we had already seen some of the storylines before. Seung Hyuk is an angel and he deserved better, but at the end of the day Hyun Seung's and Ji Won's personalities suit each other better, even if they are kinda exhausting lol. Also, Ha Neul and Pu Reum were such a funny addition to the show, I hope we get to see more of them. Lastly, I want to commend the show for being so realistic, which I think is the main reason behind its success. Like, I didn't go through any of this stuff during college cause I'm terrible at socializing (LOL), but my friends and classmates did, so I know this is a really good representation of that.
To everyone asking about where to watch the movie: it wasn't released in June because of corona, and so far it doesn't have a new release date.
And anyway, when it comes to Japanese movies you usually have to wait at least six months after the release to find it online.

Title My Mister Spoiler
I watched the first two episodes of this drama back when it aired. but found it too slow and cold, so I knew that I wasn't in the right headspace for it and didn't continue. Finally, a week ago, I felt it was the right time for this and I'm so glad I did. I already knew how the drama began, so it didn't bother me as much and I quickly got used to everything. And what came afterwards was just brilliant. I really have no words to describe how heartwarming and humane this story is, even when there are so many dark and dramatic moments.
The whole cast was fantastic, but IU just blew me away. I've loved her for years and her music has been such an important part of my life, and I knew she was also a good actress because she was pretty much the main reason why finished Hotel del Luna. But what she does here, man, that was just crazy good, Oscar-level acting. She just became the character. I really hope she works with this director again in the near future.

Title It's Okay to Not Be Okay Spoiler
I've been watching this over the past week and WOW, this was incredible. To be honest, if it hadn't been for the ridiculous nurse/mother twist it would have been a perfect 10. Still, I love all these characters so so much and I can't remember the last time I cried so much in EVERY single episode of a drama, so it's definitely a 9.5. Also, Kim Soo Hyun, Seo Ye Ji and Oh Jung See give career-best performances, THIS is truly good acting. I really hope they get the awards-love they deserve for this drama. And kudos to the directing and the writing, which were very sensitive and smart, and dealt with all these important topics better than I've ever seen in a K-drama before. Oh, and the costume and set designs was also brilliant.
