All I'm going to say is that in another life (drama) Yoyak witnessed one of the best proposals to ever be conceived…
Yoyak, in another life you helped an ex-criminal propose to his boyfriend by staging an attempted mafia hit that ended with them both being held at gunpoint in the middle of a forest, if you're not proposing to Wandee by jumping off a gurney after faking a flat line I will be deeply disappointed.
All I'm going to say is that in another life (drama) Yoyak witnessed one of the best proposals to ever be conceived and I will be heartbroken if he doesn't end this drama by proposing to Wandee in a manner that is equally insane.
While I completely agree that he neglected his family, I don't agree that he did it intentionally or that it's…
No problem! I'm always happy to try to inform about mental health because it's still such a misunderstood topic for many people.
As for how he's able to return to that moment when it's so traumatic, he said himself it's both the happiest and worst memory of his life so perhaps the residual happiness associated with that moment is what initially allowed him to go back.
Theory about the car accident: After Gwi Joo disappeared, Yi Na makes eye contact with her mother through the…
That or the mother intentionally crashed the car. She certainly seemed to be suffering from depression in the flashbacks and the way she told Gwi Joo that they "wouldn't be here when he got back" if he time travelled again felt very ominous. If that is the case then Yi Na has even more reason not to want to read minds because her first experience of it would have been incredibly traumatic.
At the moment I like pretty much all the characters apart from Man Heum (mum/grandma), who I dislike so much I almost don't want the leads to get together just to spite her and ruin her plans.
I'm going to assume it's the money + the fact that she used to see the future that's made her treat people like puppets but it's so unpleasant to watch.
Morally pointing at FL, yet nobody bats an eye about the ML being neglectful of his wife and daughter for over…
While I completely agree that he neglected his family, I don't agree that he did it intentionally or that it's comparable to the FL actively conning people?
He's completely unable to escape from that moment both mentally due to his depression and physically because unfortunately for him thinking about something in the way characteristic of thought spiralling seems to trigger his time travel.
Should he have seen a therapist like his supervisor told him? 100%. But was what he did an active choice in the same way Da Hae's decision to scam and decide the family is? No and it shouldn't be treated at such.
On the other hand, does the FL need to have all the fingers pointed at her for what she's doing? I'd say no, because the show has done a pretty good job of showing that the family (aside from Ina and I'd argue the sister) can be pretty unpleasant people, the Grandma especially, and they are equally taking advantage of her.
Anyone upset the dad is cheating the way he has been portrayed thus far does not make him seem like the type to…
I mean, the fact that he one of the first things he said when Grandma wanted to bring in Da Hae after telling him that she had no family left was "are you doing this because no one would miss her just like you did to me?"....
Whether or not he is cheating (and I agree with the other in the comments that dancing with other people is not automatically cheating), I'd say it's been heavily implied he's been trapped into a relationship that's made him very unhappy. Every time Grandma sleeps he talks about being "free" so I wouldn't say it's out of character that he takes the opportunity when she is asleep to sneak out.
Ina might be shorter than her classmates. But she really looks so young than them..i mean than all of them.
I could be wrong but the reason they decided to cast her classmates in a way that makes her look so much smaller could be to highlight the fact the she hasn't eaten properly since her mother died.
A lack of proper nutrition in early life can severely impact physical development and child with poorer diets can be significantly shorter and slighter than their peers.
In the Webtoon Taejoon dated Seheon's father, not his older brother. Given the casting and the changes they made to the rest of the story though, I can see why they changed it.
1. I said it last week that the one thing I don't like about Phaya is his anger issues and him being aggressive.…
For point 12. I think the eagle (which I'm pretty sure is a Garuda) is meant to represent Phaya instead of Tharn, at least if we're linking it to their past together!
It is very funny how always one person can finish someone effort in a jiff out of jealousy, unrealistic... and…
But scenarios like that have happened though? And within the Korean entertainment scene as well. Kim Seon Ho's case in 2021 comes to mind specifically, when that happened it happened within the space of a day and public opinion turned on him almost as soon as the first article dropped.
If this was set in the West then I'd 100% agree that it was unrealistic though because here it can feel like celebrities can be accused of pretty much anything and still find a job waiting for them at the end of the day, regardless of if they're guilty or not 😬
Regarding Namgoong Min's statement that the second part will have a happy love line. I don't think he meant there…
With regards to My Dearest being/becoming a "traditional" romance drama, I think people are right but not in the way they might expect.
My Dearest is a very "traditional" romance in the sense that it seems to draw from the same stream as the first romance tales told hundreds of years ago. They very rarely had happy endings and the focus was often on a "noble" love that prevailed through separation, hardship, and suffering (despite the two lovers mot really knowing each other very well to begin with). They were often much more moral tales about honour and "good-character" than actual love stories in the sense we're used to now.
Honestly it's fitting for the setting and refreshing and I'm enjoying seeing some of the oldest tropes in the books (like 400+ years old tropes) being brought back to play.

It's made very clear that that moment was the trigger for his depressive spiral and that he doesn't have control over when he returns. Thought spiralling is a very common symptom of mental illness (https://www.calm.com/blog/how-to-stop-spiraling#:~:text=In%20the%20context%20of%20mental,is%20often%20linked%20to%20spiraling.) and the ML was literally and physically trapped in trapped in his in a way that is quite frankly hellish.
