I’m not really familiar with the FL of the new drama replacing Recipe for Love either, but I saw Park Ki Woong’s…
Actually we’re the same about that, I don’t really trust MDL reviews either because sometimes the comments on MDL are confusing too, everyone has different opinions and some of them are super toxic. So what I do is I just watch the drama directly. At least that way I’ll know if I’ll enjoy it or not. Why don’t you try watching that drama too? who knows you might end up liking the story.

I understand everyone’s comments on this drama because we all have different opinions. Yes, Recipe for Love may not be perfect in some aspects, but it can't be denied that it’s still more enjoyable and still has heartwarming parts compared to other dramas after Once Again. Because right after Once Again, I lost the motivation to watch anything else since their storylines weren’t my cup of tea. But because I was really curious about Recipe for Love, good thing I watched it and I don’t regret it no matter how the story goes, because I’ve still enjoyed it from the beginning until now. And to be honest, after Once Again this is also one of my favorite dramas. So no matter what happens in the next episodes, I’ll still keep watching this drama because I haven’t gotten bored with the story.

Anyway even if we have different opinions, But I’m still thankful to you all because, like me, you’re still continuing to follow this drama.

Is anyone looking forward to the drama replacing recipe for love? what are ya'll's thoughts? The cast looks good,…
I’m not really familiar with the FL of the new drama replacing Recipe for Love either, but I saw Park Ki Woong’s profile info and he also worked with that FL in a drama "You Raise Me Up" with Yoon Shi Yoon.

Unfortunately, this family weekend drama has much more potential compared to what we are witnessing right now…
Maybe we don’t share the same perspective on this drama, but if you’re talking about the comedic or chaotic side, I don’t see a lack of it at all because I still laugh at that part of the scene. And about what you’re saying regarding the slow pacing — yeah, the story dragged a bit, but there’s still no problem with the pacing for me. Because the other parts of the story are so light, I don’t really feel the slowness. But thanks anyway, at least you’re still continuing to watch this drama 😊

jaybeen Don't you understand even the most basic rules of civility? You’re the only one in this discussion forum…
You said that to yourself. Who do you think you are, the manager of MDL? Who are you?

Can’t you see that not all comments are balanced? There are other commenters like @InspectorMegre who insult characters and harshly criticize the drama and even spam, then you’re still defending him.

Look at the other people commenting — whether they say something positive or negative about the drama, at least what they say is reliable and still makes sense. But @InspectorMegre is just spamming and his comments are super weird. And you’re just gonna let a commenter like that who spams the comment section?

Hey, let me tell you — I’m not insulting commenters and I'm not the internet police either. If a commenter is obvious, I’m just saying what I really notice about them, I'm just honest. And I’m noticing that you keep repeating the same thing but using different usernames. Aren’t you obviously bots? At this point, you use different usernames but you’re saying the exact same thing.

Awww when Hyun Bin hugged Ju Ah when she was scared I got teary eyed. I miss their cuteness. Yeah, their snarky…
Yeah, I agree with the weakness of the police and how long it’s taking before they catch Mi Hyang, but who knows, in the next episodes maybe she'll get caught already..

If you mean a main character dying is the ML's grandfather or Doctor Han, there’s a reason if Hyeon Bin's Grandpa dies because he hurt his wife and he’s also blocking the main couple’s relationship. As for Seong Mi’s illness who knows she might not die in the ending because that kind of illness is survival, if you notice the writer isn’t into killing main characters. Look, Ju A and her father, uncle, and grandmother all survived from Mi Hyang’s bad accomplice.

in addition to my own opinion, I'd also like to quote and paraphrase other commenters' views:Over the past month…
Yes, we have the right to comment on how we feel about the drama, but to over-criticize and act like there’s nothing positive left in the drama, then it even insult the characters, that's not good anymore. You can already express every opinion in the right way, and not through harsh criticism.

I keep seeing this kind of post or comment over and over with tons of unfair likes then they use different account names. Is this a dummy account? Because whenever @InspectorMegre is noticed, there’s also a post like this. Are you guys are connected? It's already suspicious! 🤔

Yeah you’re right. Even if this drama has weaknesses, it’s not right for him to criticize it that harshly because it’s not that bad to the point of trashing it so badly. Yes the story has flaws, but there are also light and heartwarming moments in the situation that you can still learn from. Honestly, perfect dramas are rare — almost all of them have flaws in their story too. But look at how bitter @InspectorMegre is. He’s even spamming repeated hate like he’s a dummy account that won’t stop. He’s actually more frustrating than this drama, which isn’t even that heavy.

Episode 44 may have flaws, but honestly I still enjoyed other scenes because Ju A and Hyeon Bin’s bickering was funny, and I also laughed at VP taking pictures of them. Ju A’s grandpa is cute too — he’s helping his granddaughter with sewing and he’s so happy with Hyeon Bin. At least there are scenes for Eun Bin and Woo Jae too. There might also flaws in this week’s episode, but maybe there will still be some light scenes that happen.

WTH! the crazy @InspectorMegre is spamming negativity and toxicity again now, ruining the mood in this comment section. How to report this dummy? He’s really trashing up the comment section. This person deserves to be in a mental hospital, he’s not in his right mind anymore!🫨😩😞

This drama doesn’t deserve his excessive criticism. Even though this drama has flaws, it’s not a makjang or heavy drama. Every story has a heartwarming part and funny scenes included.

The draggy pacing of the drama is natural when the story is nearing its end, especially since the episodes are long. There are other dramas like this too, but their storylines are more frustrating than Recipe for Love. Although this drama also has flaws, the good thing is the story isn’t too heavy — there’s still funny and heartwarming or light stuff happening in the situation.

I think the pacing will still be draggy in the next episode, especially since after this week’s episode there are still four episodes left in the drama. So no matter what happens in this drama, I’ll still follow it until the end because I’m not getting bored with the story and I still enjoy the heartwarming and other light situations in this drama, and I really want to know how the drama ends..

Btw... this is also one my favorite scenes in episode 44 ---Ju A and Hyeon Bin with Gong Family ❤️

It's funny and cute the interaction between the Gong Family with Ju A and Hyeon Bin! 🥰

And Recipe for Love is also included again in the list for latest Drama Buzzworthiness Rankings source from Fundex ✨

I’m so happy that Recipe for Love is still being talked about by the viewers 😊❤️

Congratulations, again Recipe for Love team! 👏👏👏

He is attacking this drama but watches daily dramas which are way worse at what he complains about in this drama
His taste in dramas isn’t even good, and on top of that he’s so unfairly criticizing this drama that isn’t even makjang or a heavy story. This person is really crazy and ignorant.

Thank you @potatoes_uwu for clearly explaining about @InspectorMegre on his unfair harsh opinion about this drama. He’s already going overboard with the negativity — his comments aren’t fair anymore, it’s just negativity and toxicity. He’s not paying attention to the real meaning of the story and the positive things still happening in it. He already dropped this drama, yet he still has the nerve to spam negativity over and over in this comment section -- @InspectorMegre is like a crazy person, like he was conceived from negativity..

This @InspectorMegre is bitter again and really harsh with criticism in this drama like he thinks the other dramas he likes are super perfect, while honestly the rest are boring. He already dropped this drama, so what’s with all the negative things he’s saying? If you dropped a drama, you shouldn’t be commenting anymore. My goodness, he’s still here spreading negativity and harsh comments like what he does in other dramas’ comment sections. This person is really pitiful..

This drama might have weaknesses in certain situations because family conflict is part of the plot, but that doesn’t mean the story is bad or has gone downhill. Maybe it drags a little, we get that. Not every family here is perfect, but there are still happy parts and heartwarming moments in the story, like in episodes 43 and 44. It’s cute how Ju A's grandpa helped her sew clothes, and even though Ju A and Hyeon Bin bicker, HB still cares for JA. Then Woo Jae helped Eunbin get a job. And the Gong family helped Ju A's grandfather go out and exercise. This drama is still at its peak. The problem wasn’t resolved right away because there are still episodes left, but the drama isn’t that heavy to deserve such harsh criticism. Not everything in this episode and drama is a weakness — there are still good situations and happy things happening in the story too, so I hope we can also see the positive side of the story and not just the negative parts. I hope opinions are balanced, not just focused on the flaws.

I’ve seen the FL in a few other shows and I think this may be her best role. She is so believable and her interactions…
She is also good in her other dramas like The Flower in Prison, Bridal Mask, High End Crush, Grand Prince, Queen: Love And War, Item and My Daughter The Flower..

I dont like the fact that its possible the leads will only get back together in the last episode this was something…
I understand if you don’t like that kind of situation. since we all have our own perspectives. But even if the leads don’t get married right away, what’s important is that they’re always together and there’s no love triangle that just makes things more complicated.

That was the brightest moment for episodes 43 and 44 ✨🥰

To be honest, the drama is not bad yet. It might be a bit draggy because the events haven’t come together yet, but that doesn’t mean the story is bad right away. There are still light situations, and thank goodness no one has died in the story yet, no matter what Mi Hyang does.

Maybe the police tactics to catch Mi Hyang were weak, but eventually this woman will get caught too..

I noticed the other commenters here are over-criticize too much the characters and they even compare it to other dramas and characters. Not everything is toxic in this drama. Each character has their own reasons why they have strengths and weaknesses..

To those who saying 'Our Happy Days' is good, actually I already dropped that drama because I got bored with the story and the female lead’s acting isn’t my cup of tea. People really love to compare — but every story and character from different dramas isn’t meant to be the same for comparison.

For those saying the leads' performance is just average, honestly they're really good at the comedic lines. And even though they haven’t made up yet, their bickering is still cute. And at the point when Mi Hyang almost killed Ju A, Hyeon Bin was there to rescue her right away. In that kind of situation, at least they still care about each other. Though they’re not at the wedding parts or making up yet, it’s better that they’re always together. Even with the bickering, it’s better than having an annoying third wheel or love square that is more distracting to the story. So for me I still have no problem with Ju A and Hyeon Bin’s relationship because they’re always together anyway.

Honestly, none of the cast here has a bad performance. They’re all great, so if they win an award for this drama, they deserve that recognition because they played their characters well.

Some people here and on YouTube, and it seems like the same ones keep commenting, are criticizing this drama so harshly now. They don’t even notice when something good is still happening in the story and they only focus on the weaknesses of each character even though those characters still have strengths. Honestly, people and situations aren’t always perfect, so our comments should need to be balanced and accurate too. Let's just not look at the weaknesses only. Because this drama is still okay compared to other dramas that are all about killing people, dying all the time, then all heavy stuff, the story goes to west, always a love triangle. Be thankful that even though Mi Hyang is scary, she doesn’t directly kill the Gong family because they manage to dodge her. At least the events here aren’t full-on makjang and this drama still has a light-hearted story attached to it..

We all have our own taste. If you’re not patient, no problem if you stop watching this drama. After all, you focus more on a drama’s weaknesses than the positive parts. But if you’re understanding viewers, you can continue watching because this drama isn’t bad enough to deserve harsh criticism..

Honestly I like Recipe for Love more than other dramas that I don’t really enjoy and end up dropping right away. So no matter what you say, as long as this drama has a good ending, there won’t be any problem for me because I really enjoyed this drama aside from Once Again.

Episode 43: Preview

Hyeon Bin and Ju A are so funny here 🤣🤣🤣

While Hyeon Bin was fixing the broken light, Ju A accidentally hit the ladder where Hyeon Bin was standing on because she got scared of a cockroach. They both fell. The banter of this couple is so cute, it’s like they’re already husband and wife. But then Hyeon Bin's grandpa and Seri showed up at the office — total scene ruiners lol!

I wonder what will happen in today’s episode? Because, I'm really curious about the upcoming scenes..

It's nice to see that the veteran actor Kim Chang Wan as Ju A’s grandfather has a new CF with actress Chae Soo Bin, and it’s so cute that he’s also holding a guitar too, just like his character in "Recipe for Love''. It’s an honor to see that the cast members of Recipe for Love are getting more projects because they all deserve blessings like this since they work so hard at their job as actors..
