Did i miss something? i like seeing ye xian love hate relationship with FL.. like how they bicker so badly but yet can clearly see yee xian developed feeling for FL. but i dont see how they have gotten close together? the first 2 episodes.. he always want to aim something at her ... i dont understand why

agree... swoon worthy is the word to describe CXX. i dont know how he can look so gorgeous in the drama. prob the hair styling. he looks esp good in his commander outfit and when he wear glasses and looking alooft. real life .. he is a bit more "goofy".. and i mean it in a good way. he looks like the guy next door, super friendly and have a good sense of humour. he is also a gentleman - evident by how he continued to hold xiao xiao during the hi 6 appearance - despite being in pain standing on the reflexology mat.
this drama have been head over heels for days. waiting is like torture. I love that the FL actually told of Pei zhong in a nice way , not to make use of her to get to his brother. i think that is the moment he has new found respect for her. and potentially turning having an interest in her, to probably liking her a bit more. In my opinion. As for the ML and FL - the slow burn is killing me but it makes sense. and i cant wait until they finally get together.
my thoughts- ep1 - so fast past, trope ridden - i was about to write it off. Ep 2 - still a bit tropey but i told myself now that they reveal everything, what else is up their sleeve? EP 3 - ah there it is... finally something anew, didnt see the twist coming from the left councillor daughter and the beautiful way it was film during the horseback riding scene and the acting from Kang tae Oh , ep 4 - now the story gets moving and even more fascinating - conclusion - cant wait for more episodes to come and glad i didnt drop it immediately

i pass on this drama earlier when it was running as i was not familiar with the leads. but then after watching clips with Ryan Ding Yu Xi and Meng Zi yi- my fav, i decided to give the series a try. currently at ep11 and wow.. just wow... visually arresting. not just the cast but the whole production. i especially love close up shots of the way the director zooms into the character's lips to show the slight smile.... very interesting indeed. also dont get me started on the fighting... poetry in motion. so far the storyline is keeping me up late into the night.

just started rewatching again after the first couple of episode. currently at ep10. i still cannot seem to link how Jinxiu can suddenly agree to marry Hongning - i mean he should know better how strict his father is and there should be more contemplation as he came across as a real serious character who is fair and uphold justice. and then there is hongning - dont know how her admiration suddenly turn to love? she claims after experiencing the life of a fallen deity she has discover what love is. that episode was so choppy i cant even follow what was happening. someone please clue me in, is there something i didnt see?
