Excellent review as always. Can’t wait to go right back into this one. I dipped my toes in it with the first two episodes and am already excited to see more of Chen Kun’s excellence!

Ugh My Name is so good thooo T.T
Btw I should have just taken your advice and dropped Taxi driver at ep 9 like you warned me too XD But I srsly stuck to the end JUST so I could see Esom do something like anything but it never happened.

Yeah, plot vise My name is not the most sophisticated but the music, action and the FL's acting is top notch plus ghe antagonists are so entertaining as well but like you I kinda wish it was a bit longer 🥺

The way that CEO had a bro who recorded EVERYTHING. As in all the employee bullying and assaults but those videos…
Yeah but it just doesn't make sense that videos shot of every brutality with so many witnesses just never make it to the light of day. That's not what happened in the real case.

Plus, the only real way to truly destroy a CEO who has enough connections and money to get out of prison is by destroying his public image. Especially with how strong the media is today. (Victims faces can be blurred) But ofcourse, the drama just took the nonsense route and yeeted him in a bomb blast lmaoooo so I guess you could do that too 🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭

Yeah my point is why didn't the Taxi Gang air the dirty laundry and get the company to shut down?

Plus in the real case that it's based on, it was the leaked videos that unearthed the abuse

The way that CEO had a bro who recorded EVERYTHING. As in all the employee bullying and assaults but those videos never leaked to the public even at the end is just plain stupid to me.

There are too many comments on this article
so I can't possibly respond to all of them. Thankyou for reading and much love to all those snazzy, sexy folks who have left such thoughtful, lovely comments and those who have disagreed with me so maturely and persuasively giving me a lot of different perspectives and food for thought. ♥️

To those who are still getting upset despite my repeated disclaimers not to get butthurt on a differing opinion: All I can say is chill fam. I respect your enthusiasm for these dramas. I acknowledge your feelings. I understand that you feel protective about these productions you love but trust me, getting rude, condescending and obviously salty about my one article in a sea of positive opinions is not going to help you achieve anything. Don't let this one editorial keep you up at night.

I am all up for a nice and civil discussion devoid of passive aggressive BS and thinly veiled barbs because that's not justified unless you've ghostwritten all these dramas lmao

Anyway, stay hydrated, breathe fresh air and have a beautiful day my lovelies! ♥️♥️♥️

I enjoyed reading your comment because it offers an interesting perspective. Personally I did feel like the dramas…
Dramas can have deeper meaning and symbolism and all of that fancy stuff without it being pointedly shoved in your face. The devices used in Navillera and Move To Heaven display a format that many K dramas that name themselves as tearjerkers employ. There's a difference between having one scene and using instruments to make it sad or emo and there's a difference when your entire show is littered with it. It felt orchestrated emotion to me. However, if you didn't feel that way and were able to enjoy it and felt a deeper connection with it, that's excellent. I don't understand why we need to have this long winded discussion. I am not trying to make you change your opinion so you shouldn't do that as well. After all, it's just an entertainment production sent out in the world so people can see it through different lenses and there's nothing wrong with that. No need to be so personal about it, especially when I already made it clear that I respect and acknowledge your point of view. Have a nice day! 💙

You're inclined to your overall opinions about the dramas, but it's odd that you keep pushing this narrative that…
I enjoyed reading your comment because it offers an interesting perspective. Personally I did feel like the dramas tried to be sentimental because of some of the instruments used: the deliberately deep dialogues and the music (violin mostly) that didn't feel organic to me. There's this familiarity to these instruments because they are used very often in K dramas when the makers want the watcher to feel a certain type of way during an emotional scene. Regardless, like you said I am inclined to my opinion as you are to yours. Still, I will give what you said some more thought. Thanks for reading the article and commenting! ♥️
