I am not strong enough to read this till the end Kate McKate but I see a lot of Lee Tae bashing. Which is so awkward considering I wanted to watch this for Lee Joon ahhahaha
I feel like it’s definitely a show that has something for everyone. There are aspects that everybody can relate…
I personally do think the appeal of the show itself is greatly because of how relatable it really is. It’s like someone took off the filter and glamour of k dramas and just showcased how real people with real problems are just trying their best. That’s one of the biggest ways it was such a win for me because in my opinion, it did that without coming across as preachy.
Ohh, I haven’t read your review yet. But I guess we can forever agree to disagree on this one drama ;)
It’s about us all. < that's the thing. I don't think that's true and I think it's a good aspect of the show.…
I feel like it’s definitely a show that has something for everyone. There are aspects that everybody can relate to. You can be the girl nervous about confessing her feelings to a crush like Gi Jeong. You can be the guy who talks too much, vents too much and cares too much like Chang Hee. You can hold on to hate for someone who wronged you like Mi Jeong and you can be or have someone in your life like Gu, falling prey to his addiction.
There is something in this show that can resonate with everyone, regardless of age, personality or way of living.
It’s human and very real. Which is why it’s definitely for “all of us” and that’s what makes it unique because it shows a realistic portrayal of humans and not the glittery garbage that most k dramas employ to cater to specific audiences
Omgggg seriously? You got that email in Korean? Was it through MDL or from somewhere else. Google translating that shit would have been a shitty experience yikes
Anyway, solid review as always my love
