I binge-watched all four episodes, and I love it so far. If it stays like this throughout the rest of the drama since it's only 12 episodes, I might give it a 10, which is rare for me this year. I also have to say I love how the female characters are written here, and it helps that someone like Sun Young makes these kinds of challenging roles believable when she plays them. But I also like that the female characters are written with substance and not in a caricature, like when writers try to write tough female characters who can fight. I feel that So Hee's character arc has a lot of depth, especially. But so far, the cases have been exciting, and they're not wasting any time, just like in Flex x cop. As soon as one case is solved, there's no break for the next one. I also love the team play here and Yeon Ho coming in and finding his place with them. I'm excited for the next episodes.
Loved her since Be Melodramatic. She´s a wonderful actress that needs to play more main roles like the Ga Doo Ri Sushi Restaurant one. Looking forward to this one tho!
I was actually wondering if it will have a season 2 yesterday when I was watching ep 14 because I wasn’t sure how’ll they’ll wrap up the story. But I am so happy its getting a season 2. Was definitely not ready to say bye to this found family😩😚
I love when screenwriters go full on camp like in UMB. We need more of these unserious plots lol like not everything have to be so angsty, melo or your quintessential storylines. Im definitely seated!
I don't understand the hate towards the FL. I mean, I would be pissed, too, if some rich guy was handed a cop position through connections. Chabeols have so much influence and power that your average individual doesn't have. The fact that ML has shown to use his endless resources and connections for the cases, which shows how lazy he is, puts the FL as the leader in a weak position because she will constantly be unfairly reminded and scolded by the higher-ups for not doing her job.
I like that Jiwon's character takes time to develop courage for her revenge because it makes so much sense in a drama setting. I loved PMR, but I wish there were more stakes to make the revenge part much more worth it. Unlike the webtoon, the drama has already covered some of the core parts that took time to be revealed because it's only 16 episodes. It's wise because it maintains the entertaining aspect of the plot. I like that our FL is not shown to be two-dimensional in that when she returns to the past, the path is not suddenly smooth. However, she encounters the challenges much longer and learns to become braver while being aware of her vulnerabilities.
The latest episode was so much fun, and I had such a laugh at the judo scene lmao
Okay, so much happened in the first episode but I really am impressed. I haven´t read the webtoon but im fine with only getting the drama version. I watched 2037 yesterday and was impressed with Hong Yeji´s acting there and she did a great job here as well. Love how different this drama is and nice that it is not set in Joseon period like most saeguks. I also loved the progressive message we´re seeing in the plot and I really cannot wait for rest of the episodes. This was a great start.
