Lol spare me please

Well I can agree to this, is just that the direction of the drama makes it look like Xuanhuan instead of xianxia. But don't get me wrong there are many other new Chinese Xuanhuan drama that has this highlighted flaws above.

It's funny when you people accused people of bias when speaking the truth. If you go through my history in this platform you will know that I don't spare any bad actor even if the actor is my favorite in different dramas. I'm just spitting the facts and you people are quick to label me bias.

Try love of nivirna, it has similar story and ending.
though is not a fantasy drama but the good news is that there is actually a competent ml.

At least second ml is very competent and can save everyone from danger, while fl will cry on her knees and ml will open his eyes wider like torch lamp without doing anything with his superior power

If is not Xuanhuan then what category it is then? Because this can't just be only wuxia. This is a fantasy drama and I'm right about my point.

I actually love her most in TTEOTM she very outstanding with lots of energy unlike in this drama where she was on her knees more than her feets. She is just a next level crying queen 👑 in this show.

Chinese writers and directors have gotten used to putting Demon, God and Human in the same category. I miss those period in Cdrama when there is distinguished differences between Human, demon and god characters.

Gone are the days when chinese fantasy drama is actually fantasy.
Here are my favorite cdrama that actual define the meaning of fantasy and boundaries between men and gods. "three lives three world" and eternal love of dream or ash of love .

Here is my point...

I believe that a demon and god character shouldn't be mixed with human, human are mortal being that has no celestial ability to confront or subdue demon or god.

Human limitations should only be in human realm and should have no ability to go to demon or heavenly realm while still alive.

The gods has the power to go to the demon and human realm at ease while the demons has the power to go to human realm. And only a powerful demon has the power to go to heaven realm to challenge God.

Human limitations should only be in the mortal realm unless death.

And most of times, God or demons have to go through reincarnation and become mortals when they went human realms. Or they keep their identity secret if they went with their celestial body. And even as that, there must be a serious side effect and impacts on humans when gods and demons interact with mortals with their celetial body.

And that is the real meaning of fantasy Xuan huang drama.

Even if they want portray him a benevolent demon, no problem but he should go killing mode when provoked and that makes him demon, I can't accept the fact that a demon is more kind than human lol.

The good thing is that i regretted watching this show and is because of the ml, luckily he died been benevolent lol. else I could be more angry. This has nothing to do with "favorite" I'm ok wit him in iam no body and back from the brink. And if you claim I'm bias, then check my comment about him in back from the brink.

Of course this drama could have been better off without the ml, with ZYC as the ml and Li lun as the 2nd ml super villain and the drama could be perfect. Or shouldn't have portrayed the ml as overly benevolent demon. They could have make his character gray and more serious. This trope of one benevolent man saving humanity is ridiculous to me in Cdrama when the character is even demon lol 😂 they should learn from Till the end of the moon.

A bad ass character is always a bad character, you people should learn to accept reality. I love the ml in "Iam no body and back from the brink" but not in this drama, and I have the right to express my dissatisfaction of him

Even as that Rui as the 2nd ml performs better than the ml. The guy is a good actor and he's even a new actor. The ml never make me root for him at all.

The only thing that could have made the ml relevant in this show was the romance part but again that sucks. The fl seems to be more attached to the 2nd ml than ml himself, I feel like they are only trying to force their romance when they are together but is different when the fl is with the 2nd ml

See I have never complained about ml before and this my first time. The ml absolutely worst in many aspect, apart from the useless joke he always crack. I just don't like when a demon character is being portrayed too benevolent.

I don't hate the ml but I just hate how he was portrayed in this show, I think with the 2nd ml outperformance, he's totally irrelevant here in the show. And one thing that boil my blood the most is when he will crack useless joke from nowhere when everyone is being serious.

This whole series could be better off without the ml honestly. The 2nd ml literally outperform in all aspect.

And also I have many problems with the ml character.
The 2nd ml now make me feel like he's ml, he even look more serious and have more fight potential than the ml. He was literally the one that always save them in danger while the ml will just open his eye ball waaa contemplating wether to unleash his demon power or not. Like what is the use of portraying him as the most powerful person in the drama when I couldn't see him unleash a dominant power for once, even Li lun always supercede him.
I came to realize that what makes me even more angry is when his trying to portray a benevolent demon. If that's the case why not just make him a holy God and is acceptable. In my opinion for whatever reason, a demon character must be absolutely grey and should go killing mode when necessary. The demon character in "Till the end of the moon" did it better

So that means her love interest is actually the 2nd ml instead of the ml, because throughout the whole series, she has shown more care and cried more for the 2nd ml. The director could have paird them together since they are more comfortable with each other. Because I can't see any single gravity between her and ml. They couldn't even kiss at all lol. I just hate love triangle and even more, I hate fake and hypocritical love.
