TROTG will forever hold a place in my heart ;-; I heard seasons 2 coming out, it will be the same ML but FL is not set yet unfortunately ;-; I’m not gonna watch if Lu Si isn’t in it ;-;

I know she does a great job of having chemistry with her pairing, it’s just that I don’t like him but I’ll give it a try then. My list of my fav of her best chemistry CP would be LLTG, TROTG, WRTW, LBTI (this one had a lot of kissing haha). My fav are her historical drama haha.

Same I watch everything with Lu Si. I don’t believe what others say, I prefer to watch for myself. There’s even shows that had really good reviews that I couldn’t stand. Been watching her shows since oh my emperor, at that time I didn’t know much about her and then after a while she stared in more shows and I was so excited and happy for her. I especially love her in historical shows but I didn’t watch A Female Student Arrives at the Imperial College bc I don’t have a good impression of the actor that plays themale lead in that one and I kinda like the 2ML more. Did you watch it? How was it?
In short its 2(couple) person pairing that go well together. Like in this drama for example we have the ML and the FL CP, then we also have the elder brother and ML bro CP and the Feng Qi Wu and FL BFF CP.
Umm I’ll try my best to explain, CP is a popular internet slang in china so its hard to explain. I guess you can understand it as a basically a couple pairing (CP). Since its a slang theres a lot of interpretation/ understanding, CP usually stands for a couples in novel and or show but It also doesn’t have to be a couples in novel, drama or comic it could also be referring to a duo (couplemeans 2 too) like the CP could refer to two really good friends in the show or novel they could still be said to have a great CP feel. SO in short it means 2 people with a wholesome feel/chemistry. I’m bad at explaining but hope this helps.

I think since I have these feeling it shows how great both actors did in this show. Love there chemistry so much and there acting was so cute and made me believe in the story. (Not accepting any disagreement and or bad comments on either actor :P) So sad that I almost didn’t watch this show due to all the negative reviews, glad I didn’t believe it unless I see for myself.
Yes I know but still feel guilty haha. Lu Si and Leo Wu is my favourite CP, I can’t over there chemistry ;-; I’m gonna miss them when the show is done airing

I never read the novel so i actually just watch the show with no previous idea in mind. Plus it’s a adaptation not a live action or what is it called. His death did break my heart but despite the negative feedback I saw on the Chinese social platform as well as a lot of other drama review platforms, I really enjoyed this show and I kinda want a season 2. (Also I heard a really crazy rumour about horse abuse) Also you might want to mark your comment with spoiler haha.
I feel like I’m cheating on Leo Wu because I’m watching this while waiting for Love like the galaxy to finish airing before watching the rest of it. I love love love Lu Si CP with Leo but this CP is really cute too ;-; I love my bb Lu Si
Omg the moment when he came to save her last moment on the battle field in ep 37 had me smiling so much my cheeks…
And the cheek kiss and the wedding on ep 38 ;-; ML’s elder brother’s wholesome smile was so sweet too ;-; and when the ML and FL look at each other ;-; help me
Am I the only one that really dislike the second female lead: 1. She claims she feels bad for the female lead -> ask her father to adopt/ apologize to the main female lead After the male lead becomes a “better person” ? Like if she really felt bad why didn’t she do something right after the marriage happen (theres no way she didn’t know about it and theres no way she only knew about it after he become a “better person”) 2. She falls in love with the male lead after his reputation got better and he became a better version of himself She begins stalking them? And asks her servant to stalk them? (Also the servant literally exist to make her seem like a “kind gentle lady”) 3. She continues looks down on the main lead and female lead for being indecent Then she goes on to try to seduce him? There’s even a part where she try to get him to see her bathing/ naked to make him take responsibility 4. The director paired her up with the second male lead (the male lead’s father’s adopted son) -> I felt like he deserved better
I understand her character is needed for there to be a ripple in the main couples relationship (like in most drama/ romance) but the story keeps trying to purify her. I’m not how to explain it. it’s understandable for her to regret her decision. Like they make her action and thoughts bad/ evil but some how she’s a nice girl? I don’t understand and like I said I feel bad for the second male lead.
im confused on how this show works. are they just acting and they all know who the murderer is but they're just…
In china there’s a really popular type of game played among group of friends called “Script kill/killer” (if translated over) and basically how the game work is there is a script based around a murder case and everyone gets a character with a script and in the show theres about 5 suspects (i think I’m not to sure the exact number) and 1 detective and only the killer can lie in there responses but the other innocent suspect can’t say too much as no one can really be trusted except the detective and sometimes some players are really skilled at playing the game and can cause everyone to direct the suspect onto a innocent player/character. Every episode is a new story and over the years the shows producers has been finding new interesting twist to the story. This is a really cool show and I have been following every season. Hope this helps with your confusion :)
