I like it a lot so far the lead are really cute together but I’ve been wondering how are they gonna fill those 32 episodes up. I’m at episode 3 so far and the chemistry is so strong it looks like they could go back to be a couple anytime soon so I wonder after that what will be left to tell ?
it’s definitely not a bad drama and I found episode 1 and 2 very strong and good as a start. On the contrary starting episode 3 it becames kinda unengaging and even annoying. It doesn’t feel like there is enough substance to fill 10 episodes and the montage is such that you always looks forward to the end of each episode because you know you will get the best scene of the episode in the end. It’s always like this with this one so far and it makes it feel like a chore to get through the episodes. 2nd couple relation was depicted in a very annoying way was to the point I don’t even look forward to see them lovey dovey together.
She said in an interview with Elle Magazine that since she has done a lot of action and genre role recently she really want to star in a rom-com so please directors, make her wish to come true because this is also mine. Dali and the Cocky Prince wasn’t enough !
In episode 2 Kim Mu Bi took a bite of an apple then put it back in the basket. I know it’s pointless details but it was so weird I wonder what was the director thinking keeping this during the montage.
After watching Flex X Cop I started to miss Ahn Bo Hyun but thanks God I found his sister. More seriously I love her face she looks very pretty, fierce and unique so I’m gonna start watching her dramas.
Some convicted rapist and sexual offenders are still out there appearing in every drama and this man right here is unable to do his job because of mistake that happened when he was 11 years old or something along those lines. I’m not belittling what he did and only the victim can forgive or not what he did but the fact that it was allegedly settled in a way befitting of his age and the gravity of the act AND that it was only brought again after and BECAUSE he started getting recognition is pure madness to me.
It’s an aspect of Korean society that is very hard to understand for us westerners but it’s starting to influence my consumption of medias because now I’m running a background check on every main cast actors starring in the show I watch.
I don't know if I am crazy or my eyes need a checkup but I am blown away right now, So, I am watching Dali and…
Op your eyes are fine. I also think she share some features with Park Gyu Young (The FL in Dali and Cocky Prince) especially the way they smile ( the corners of their mouths). Anyway they are both very pretty !!!
But if I’m being honest it feels like the script fell apart in episode 5. I was pretty surprised and apalled by Jenny death. The desire Gil Ho had to protect her specifically was what drawn me in this drama and made me push through the episodes. I hoped for some kind acknowledgment by her part but It never really happened. He was ready to die for her, he puts himself in all those crazy situations ready to discard his life at any moments for her and in return all he get his this dry-ass suicide note vocal. Wtf ? Did she knew how much he cared for her ? He locked her up in an abandoned arcade room to keep her safe, she still escaped. He left her in the hand of police officers because he was wanted and thought it was better for her, she escaped again (to save Yeseo I know, this part was rushed as hell) and even killed herself in the process. All those flashback they gave us with Gil Ho and Jenny made me think they had a special connection but her death proved me it was onesided, she had better chemistry with Yeseo. The desire to protect is not the same as the desire for revenge and the latter one made me lose interest so I’m dropping this drama at the episode 6 :(
