If you like that type of plot I recommend you the drama My Beautiful Bride. The main character is played by Kim Mu Yeol if I’m spelling his name right and he is an excellent actor.
Four episodes in and it feels like they turned on the cameras and went with the flow. No script at all like wtf is even happening and why ? It’s not terrible, there is a lot a scene that I really enjoy (mostly when the FL and ML or even the 2ML are on the screen) but most of them so far feels purposeless, not even funny and a chore to watch.
It was a good movie. The commander knew about the affair and probably left for one month on purpose. He was shot in the grain and never made love to his wife. In the first scene where the ML and FL had sex you can see after he leave that she is sitting nude and there is a lot of blood on the bed. It was probably her first time. And that also explains the ending. How could she disappear leaving her son like that ? She probably never really loved him and since she felt like her « duty » has the commander wife was done she left to go back to her lover. It’s an happy, cruel and sad ending I think.
Okay hear me out : I need this sexy man in an action-romance drama Playing an anti-hero type of ML with his hair a little bit longer that he as them in Little Women and SPECIFICALLY partnered with Kim Go Eun, Park Ji Hyun or Park Gyu Young. And I will be extremely satisfied. Those directors and screenwriter better do something like this real quick.
Three episodes in and I rate it a 10/10. When it’s good it’s good. I know it will be until the end and I will not be disappointef but such a good script, clever writing and excellent actors.
Kinda surprising since I ended dropping two dramas of the same director-screenwriter combination (Something in the Rain and One Spring Night) it’s not that they were bad, just really annoying and tire some to bingewatch. I like my romance seasoned with a lot of slice of life or even works politics. Anyway the dynamic between the two leads is extremely interesting and watching those two interacts I’m really looking forward to the dating era !
I actually never watched one of her dramas or movies but I instantly became a fan after watching the episode of Zzanbro where she appears with Lee Min-Ki. She was so energetic, as an introverted person, I had so much fun watching her and her antics. So pretty, funny, clever and cute ! I wish her the best she deserves it !
I’m an extremely picky watcher the type that check every comments, every review before deciding to watch a drama. I think that it was the first time that after just reading the synopsis I was convives that I genuinely wanted to see this story unfold. I didn’t even take a look at the casting, director, product etc and wow, 9 épisode in and all I can say is that I took a slap in the face. This drama is exactly my faste, I don’t even know how to properly express it. It just feels like it was made for me. It’s been a long time since I cried watching something I even surprised myself. I 100% recommend this show to everybody who want to experience a great and emotional coming of age piece of work. I also advise to go blind without trying to score piece of information beforehand (like who is the ML the SML) etc… I will clearly ruin a significative part of the experience watching this gem.
I will finish this post by saying that the acting is truly excellent and a delight to watch.
