Why tf is she handling everything by herself instead of calling the cops? No-one's going to jail?? Also they mentioned…
Right, this is crazy and nonsensical. She was kidnapped and they almost forced an abortion on her? Then they tried to kill her twice, killed her baby. And now her step mother commited fraud with her father's will but 0 police involved so far?? That's ridiculous.
Do people really introduce themselves as "I'm her first love" in China? I've seen it multiple times in Cdramas and it's just so weird. Especially when they tell it to a current boyfriend or husband π€
As a donghua watcher, this season defenitly followed the events and the characters personalities way better. It's…
I agree! I'm on ep 19 and it's definitelly more inspired on the donghua, especially for the fighting scenes and CGI effects. The outfits are nice and the decors/landscape are way more impressive. You can tell they put in the efforts budget-wise. The actors are also very good
I'm also here after watching Love Game in Eastern Fantasy. It's always funny to see the same lead couple in another universe, it feels like I'm watching an arc story ^^ I love when this happens! Last time was when I watched Till the End of the Moon and followed it with Love Is Sweet.
The first half was hilarious and entertaining, with the FL trying to gain points with the ML's by all means. But I really like the fact that they made her forget that she was in a game half way. It made their love story way more genuine and authentic. I actually really liked the ending, and it deserves credits for being so original.
I liked the ML's charisma but I found the romance pretty boring ... The story is basically about everyone around them trying to kill them and them escaping death every 2 episodes. The action scenes weren't bad. But I found the dubbing annoying: it looks like they've changed a lot of the script afterwards and the lips movements weren't matching half of the time, especially for the ML.
I loved it! The plot isn't perfect but the story is interesting. The chemistry between the leads is off the charts and there are many spicy scenes. The actors were great, especially the leads and the 2nd ML. It was an easy watch.
Ding Yu Xi's acting keeps boring, he's not even bad but he's rarely convincing to me ... He's looks too boyish…
I disagree, I haven't seen much of his work ever since TRTR but I think he has evolved a lot π€he's got much more charisma and maturity in this drama.
It started out pretty good. I liked the main charcters, but espcially the ML: the actor has gotten a lot better from what I remember when I saw him in 'The romance of tiger and rose'.
But I couldn't really get into the mystery case solving part, which is about 85% of this show. It just seems like I've seen so many of these shows recently - the last one being 'In blossom' - it's just become a bit too repetitive for me... :/ But it's an interesting show. Although I could do without all the awkward scenes at the FL's family house, so uncomfortable to watch π
