Why did I binge episodes 1–8 all at once?! Now I'm stuck waiting until Thursday for the finale and the anticipation is killing me. The layers of corruption and the tragic history between the characters have reached an absolute breaking point. I am so invested in their fate, but I'm also terrified for what's going to happen next. Thursday cannot come fast enough!

I’ve never felt this complicated watching a series. Usually, the industry introduces us to fairytale concepts where the characters are almost perfect and everything feels safe. 'Deep In' is a massive, unexpected jump for this genre. I never expected this in a BL. It’s the first time a series has made me deeply contemplate the raw, messy, and ugly realities of human behavior and choices. I never expected this level of psychological depth here, and it has completely rewired how I view BL. I must give massive credit to the writer, the director, and the actors for pulling off something this brilliant and daring.

Why did I stack them up?! 😭 I deeply regret binging episodes 4–9 in one sitting. My mind is completely fried and I'm in a total daze. It's such a complicated watch. Like, I'm so happy with Zhang Zhun and Zhen Xie getting together, but I'm also quite conflicted about everything that's happening. The moral dilemma is so real!

I know their slow burn is testing our patience, but I'm still holding onto hope for the finale. Can we please fast-forward to EP 4 and see RomeMok happily married, or just get a close-up shot of them flashing matching couple rings? Just imagining them in a wedding setting or wearing rings together would completely cure my soul and heal my heart after this week's episode! 😭💍✨

6 days, 23 hours, 13 minutes, and 25 seconds of pure torture until episode 3 drops. I'm literally counting down the seconds just to see if we get any RomeMok crumbs! 😭⏳

I can barely handle the mood shifts in this episode. I love seeing TheePeach navigate married life, but the agonizingly slow progress between Rome and Mhok is driving me crazy right now.😭

Rome and Mhok actually have their own standalone story, and next episode is going to focus heavily on Rome stepping up as the next Arseni leader. Episode 1 just had to set up a lot, but their main plotline and closure are definitely coming!

Honestly, I recommend reading the novel so you don't miss out! The book gives all the missing context about how Rome and Mhok got together during that time. The 4-ep limit means the show has to skip a lot of the build-up!
