Thanks for sharing!!! I’d been waiting for 2 years TT
such a rude thing to say about a large category of actresses and dramas. Idk what you've watched and with who,…
As I said in my other comments, I've been watching Jdramas for 16 years now (and so many I can't even remember their names anymore sadly) so I think I know enough about them to have an opinion. And again, as I said in my other comments, it's a matter of taste ; as much as I love Jdramas, there is just something in the acting of MANY Jdramas actresses that I never liked. The comparison with actresses from other Asian countries is irrelevant.
Aaaaaand bye. Very disappointed as he was one of my faves and I’ve complained SO MUCH about his lack of proper roles lmao. It’s not some “soft” bullying either (if that’s even a thing), it’s pervert psychopath shit that can’t be forgiven.
Nice, I like visual rankings lol - First is Cha Eunwoo obviously, he is unbeatable imo. I'm watching Master in the House and even in the most unflattering situations this guy's visuals are out of this world! And he's a rare 100% (ok 99% lol) natural celebrity. - Kim Myungsoo, Mackenyu and Lee Joon Ki in his younger years come right after: they def have/had anime visuals. - Then Taeyong and Taemin: when they're styled and groomed, they are literal 2D characters. Most idols try that look but these two are superior. - Kim Jae Joong from DBSK/JYJ is not here (he's been irrelevant for a long time now lol) but he was the original "Straight Out of Anime" visual.
I've watched the 1991 version of this drama and I can confidently say this was never meant to be a romcom. Also,…
Yeah it's like a mix between the "slice of life" genre and romance I think? I haven't watched the 1991 version but this one was the perfect balance between the two imo. No problem, I see what you mean about Jdramas, they're my favorites too so I often get defensive about them, especially when they're compared to dramas from other countries.
I wish more kdramas were 8-episodes! Also, I used to follow that guy Chae Jong Hyeop on IG in like 2014 or something when I liked Korean models. Funny hearing about him now, I didn't know he was an actor
Cool! Just a few days ago I was thinking about this guy and went to check his upcoming drama but he didn't have any. I'm glad he's back but this is a historical drama + on KBS, literally the last thing I would watch.

You’re right, I wrote this comment quickly but I actually meant romance, not romcom. As for Jdramas FLs’ acting, it must be a matter of taste; I’ve been watching Jdramas since 2005 (and I’m really not into « popular cringy teen » Jdramas so I don’t know what this has got to do with my opinion) and the amount I’ve dropped because of the mediocre or forced acting of the FL is huge, I can’t even remember. At least when the drama is a comedy, I can bear the cringy acting; but I prefer more mature stuff so any mediocre or cringy acting makes it unwatchable.
Also ever heard of tale of the nine tailed yes she was 30 but still he was like 900 years older then her and he…
This is a fantasy age gap between an adult woman and a mystical creature so it doesn’t really spark controversy since it’s not realistic at all. A high school kid with a grown adult is more controversial so they barely do it anymore.
A female detective drama with one of my favorite Japanese actresses, how did I miss this! It doesn't seem to have been subbed, it's time like these where I wish I had been consistent in my Japanese lessons lol
Nice, I like this kind of movies, even if the writer is lazy and makes the lead do stupid shit to develop the story. The writer/director seems very young though, so let's forgive him I guess. The ending was a bit lame and poorly executed though imo. The way they showed the plot twist was eventually shown was a bit all over the place. Also, what was the point of the phone call old YS gave to younger YS? It didn't prevent anything, she still fell pretty hard and could have died lol. And did she keep Seo-Yeon captive for 20 fcking years? It makes no sense.
Omg I am actually watching this drama right now because someone in the comments under the YNEIH video recommended it! And it's so good indeed! Thank you again <3
I’ve been hearing about this guy for YEARS... and I’ve still never watched ANY of his works. I don’t know, none of his works’ synopsis has ever caught my attention for some reason.
