If only Ji An had could have some self-esteem.....If only something could trigger her into action to take advantage and remind her of the things she could bring to the table for Haesung Corp (or any large co)....she's got skills but she's burying them....

I think they showed us a preview of what's to come when they showed us how she moves into coordination and leadership action when she managed the wedding a couple eps ago. Someone even said that you could see her corporate talents (probably Hyuk). Anyway, until she can see that she brings something to the table for Dl Kyung and his corporation, there's no way she can play a role in that family.

Maybe Ji Soo will teach her how to NOT play by the rules in that family and still be a part of it. That is one of Ji An's main issues...but Ji Soo never took their shi&^t since Day 1. So this might be a way to conquer this and also win back her sister....Ji Soo is dreaming of her sister asking to include her and/or ask for help. So the day has come............

Classics storyline, but a good one. Well acted by both the leads. Glad I took a breather in my drama schedule to watch this.

My brain is a little fried after watching this week's eps...Thanks be to the ray of goodness I saw in the preview for next week -- I needed that.

Yeah, while it is a bit depressing, it's not a twisted revenge story, or about a con, and surely it won't end in a tragedy. :D I see this as more of a drama about catharsis.

He's such a good actor, and handsome....This week's eps end in a very emotional cliff-hanger. I'd prefer not to have been left at that spot, but that's the way these dramas work!

Maybe PJ will sleep with MoHyun, get her pregnant, and we will see his son inherit the company as a recognized heir. Of course that would allow for PJ to get revenge on everyone, so I am guessing its not going down that way...LOL

Lee Seung Gi's acting is really working for me! As long as they keep Ma Wang's tantrums toned down, I can enjoy the show more.

I found myself really teary-eyed when Ji Soo said all that stuff to Hyuk. Not teary-eyed for her but because it was so hurtful for him to be on the receiving end of that. She was so mean with what she said that it was gasp-worthy. We found out later that he had that script she wrote long ago...so he will try to get to the bottom of what happened I am sure.....

I enjoyed your article...which is really a really thorough and helpful go-to-guide of extended character descriptions. Its really worthy reading even if you are afraid of spoilers. It doesn't give anything away. One or two of my friends here on MDL dropped it after 1st ep so I hope they reconsider. I am passing them your article!

What I liked best is your assimilations of the characters based on being half way thru the show. I too am watching and on the edge of my seat each week. I especially loved your on-liner about Pil Joo's relationships: "In the process, he has built some quite precarious relationships (one of them so disgusting that you want to cover your eyes and more"...... There was that time a few weeks ago that I remember getting nauseous. LOL

One thing I will add is that last weekend as you were probably writing this, Jang Hyuk, Jang Seung Jo, Lee Mi Sook all won awards for each of their categories at the MBC 2017 awards. So well-deserved.

3 other shows Jang Hyuk is in (besides Fated to Love You) that you should watch if you've found yourself even more of a Jang Hyuk fan: Chuno (aka Slave Hunter), Shine or go Crazy, and Midas. He's one of my top 3 actors.....

PLEASE do give Fated to Love You another chance. His acting is amazing in it, as is hers. The story is a roller coaster of emotions the whole ride. Its far from a rom-com. I watched it again recently and was again laughing one minute and glassy-eyed and holding my pillow the next. And I already knew the story. LOL
