I am in the middle of Princess Wei Young - I wasn't sure in the beginning if I liked his character, but he's doing a great job delivering the complexity of the character. I haven't watched him since Autumn's Concerto....he was great in that but even better in this.
I love this man...both G-Dragon and Kwon Ji Yong. He's so talented, so unique, so independent, so caring, an incredible leader and inspiration to all in his industry and outside. On top of all that he's got a wicked smile and wonderful laugh. I love this particular quote from him >>https://s26.postimg.org/mm6b1jte1/gdragon2.gif
Thanks for reading! I didn't finish watching Suki na Hito ga Iru Koto, I didn't like that drama it was very weird…
I can see it definitely being one u love or hate. I just liked him in it. He was cute/handsome and didn't look as skinny as he normally does. Kiritani Mirei looked so anorexic it was really hard for me to watch her scenes but eventually i just went with it. I watched a bunch of his stuff this year. Looking forward to more of his works. I like that he keeps busy!
I watch a lot of Japanese works from your recommendations that u give to everyone in the forums (and me)! I thank you for always taking the time. :D
Thanks for putting this together esp with your personal comments! One comment, I know that many feel that Yamazaki Kento has had some up and down acting roles, but I thought he was strong and really liked him in A Girl and 3 Sweethearts/Suki na Hito ga Iru Koto. I didn't like the female lead but I liked it enough to rewatch him in it.
This tale is quite enchanting. YSH is adorable one minute and sexy and sensual the next. I like him in this way better than in Ruler of the Mask. He's more natural.
Ji Soo has lived in a protected bubble her whole life its about time she faced reality.I agree with you wholeheartedly…
Ji Soo has been flitting around as the stupid sister with no one kicking her ass. What an easy life. Its ironic when her status moves from poor to rich that her life become "difficult." I guess that's her theme song.
So, this ep irritated me on more than one point....Ji Soo running away in a state of panic to the point where she's running in the streets, dazed and confused....was excessive. And if she was so traumatized at having to dress up like Ji An, why didn't she take the wig off as she was running around? Then to be caught and taken away by bodyguards...it was laughable. I'm glad she got a smack of reality in the face from the grandfather...even though he too is a crazy rich guy...what he said to her was on point.
2nd point - When Ji An is sitting there on the steps remembering how she soooo sadly was told she couldn't have private lessons and become a sculptor....Give me a break. If she had gotten private lessons, there is no proof she would have been successful or be able to support herself. Most artists are "starving artists". I'm so sad that she had to be a business mgmt major and have at least a better shot at getting a job. Is she putting blame on her parents again? If she wanted to become a sculptor so bad, she could have pursued scholarships and/or paying her way thru art school.
On a positive note, even though Ji An's father is being off-the-deep-end in his behavior right now, i did love it when he told his wife that he wasn't born to support her. Gave me a chuckle. It will be interesting when we see him become rich again.....
I am glad Do Kyung made a move that will call his grandfather's bluff. As if he won't become the heir...LOL Anyway, looking fwd to seeing his new phase of his life.
I dont like the actress but I tried the first two episodes and I actually like her character here
Agreed, she's doing a fine job in character. I don't like or dislike her, but for me she's just ok-looking. I am hoping I'll like their chemistry so am looking over that.
Love your article, list and bravery! I had some slight differences where i watched but should have dropped. I'm not a big show-dropper, unless it seriously rubs me wrong though. << I have to work on this though. :P
1. Chicago Typewriter - Couldn't get into story, but still watched to the end, hoping to see more of the dog. 2. Revolutionary Love - Dropped right away 3. While You Were Sleeping - It became very tiring, but I continued to watch for the cute cop 4. The Liar and his Love - Dropped right away 5. Ruler of the Mask - Put on hold because boring, returned later and did eventually finish. Should have dropped. 6. Temp of Love - Had promise but took nosedive in last few eps. Watched to end while pissed off at lead female (and her mother). 7. Hwarang - Couldn't stand Go Ah Ra's character...always crying. She was miscast for this role. Zero chemistry btw either male leads. FFW'd thru her scenes. Wanted to see where the story went with the two male leads, so watched to end. 8. Pretty Li Hui Zhen - Hated the Korean one, wouldn't dare watch this. 9. Suspicious Partner - Watched and enjoyed because I never mind looking at him. LOL 10. Romantic Teacher Doctor Kim - I dont watch doctor shows.
