yeah, i am not so sure its a triangle. its an arranged marriage where the woman is manipulated into thinking its by fate. but the one who arranged the marriage to one of the heirs falls for her. the guy she marries or is going to marry is a careless playboy. I'd watch.

She drowned. I believe his brother drowned at the same time, which is why she jumped in the lake. I have to go back and rewatch some stuff before I can say for sure his relationship to the family. I can't tell if he is an illegitimate son or not. But for sure right now in the drama he is the family "cleaner" as the say in Pulp Fiction...or the "consigliere" behind the scenes like in Godfather...the right hand man.

I am so psyched about this drama. I love Jang Hyuk in this drama with romance lurking in it (I am on ep 2 but i see where its headed). He's already fantastically cool and dashingly handsome. Its not a light drama, or rom-com. It has 2 competing heirs in one family, arranged marriages, revenge and some mystery on top of a complicated romance or two. The scenery and cinematography are wonderful. Clearly I am already biased.

wow i just saw press that Lee Min Ho and Suzy have broken up. Of course its been coming and although I know nothing about their personal lives, he seems like he's at a different stage in his life IMO. Anyway, thought I'd pass along.

i agree on your points almost exactly. Regarding Suzy, I didn't pick up the issue about being pretty...in fact they kinda went overboard with her hair, glasses and messy look to make her less pretty. Its her consistent quippy responses...and she always is tilting her head left or right in a pronounced way which is irritating. While she has the ability to forecast what's going to happen, the character's assumptiveness regarding their progression and stage of their relationship bugs me. Like "of course" he's supposed to fall for me. I see a lot of her faults being the director except for the chemistry part....that's just her. Maybe its also me, always seeing Lee Min Ho's shadow between them!! Finally, she has the ability to act well within her...I thought she was great in Gu Family Book.

yeah, i've calmed down a bit and do plan on watching till the end because i like the 2 guys....their characters and the actors. Independent of this show, I too like Seo Hyun Jin since that other drama as well. In fact, i am going to watch a couple others of hers that I checked out. But I am going to have to take a break from this character!

i almost dropped in the middle of this ep. Hyun Soo is unbearable to watch. Even with the ending to this ep, am seriously considering not continuing. Am gonna process this a bit....

i have hated her character too for your reasons exactly, but not enough to drop the show. She doesn't and won't carry it or ultimately ruin it I don't think. I'd carry on! This romance between the leads is just getting started!
