i want to make sure i understand the ending...did he show up in present day time? thats how i interpreted it...and when she got back in the van at the very last scene by herself with her black sneakers, what did that mean?
the line in ep 4: "if you don't leave, I'm gonna eat you up"......whoa! what a delivery this guy ha!. i am so IN to this show. I don't consider this a spoiler but a preview...a teaser...
Wait? Was there a story? *snaps head back into reality* LOL I had it on rewind (once or *maybe* twice) for 2 fabulously surprising sex scenes in a kmovie! Steamy... And with an actor i really think is talented. Back to the story, seriously there was a good, slightly twisted story here and i think the drama is well worth watching. Take note that it is for a MATURE audience. Enjoyed the cinematography in this.
this movie was ok. not sure why it needed to end the way it did...a little extreme with her on a train saying she'll see him in her next life. but, i guess that's the writer's story.
am surprised joo wan took on this role even if it shows his range as an actor, but, if he felt he was being typecasted too often this may be why. will have to find some interviews on youtube if there are any,
intereting flick with a bit of a twist. I just thought it would end differently and am disappointed a bit. the film did a great job of instilling passion in the viewer... the producer/writer/directors earned all the negative comments about the ending because they created this passion within us viewers...the demand for a proper ending. I am glad i saw it but won't recommend it.
Talk about a slice of life film...yakuza tale. grit, grime and goriness to be expected. I thought Matsuda Shota did a good job of making me want to follow his story to the end. If you don't care for this kind of stuff, i recommend u don't watch.
This was such a lame drama. it felt low budget all the way. I only continued to watch because I liked looking at him. A number of observations:
1. the lead actress wore horrible wigs and what was with her wearing a headband thru the whole show? Also most of the show she was wearing skirt that look like i could have made them in home economics class. They look like something someone in the 50's would wear, hardly youthful and just pain unattractive.
2. the lead actress needs to go to acting school. Her expressions and body mannerisms were over pronounced and unnatural to the point of being cringe-worthy.
3. in the final ep, why would his ex GF/CEO try to do that in the hotel when she heard his wife was pregnant instead of doing way earlier. At this point it was too late and he would never leave his wife. WEIRD plot line. i guess u could say that news flipped her over the edge into pure crazy....
4. why didn't the aunt who was trying to kill him end up being sent to a mental hospital?...that would have been a happy ending. that should have been done 20 yrs ago.
5. i like that they got married in the end, but why didnt he do that the month they were off on their own...why did it just occur to him in the last 20 min of the show?
6. regarding her boss at the dept store and her father hooking up...seriously? need i say more?
7. Having her run off that the end and leave her ring behind to negotiate with the grandfather....that was just ridiculous. If I were her husband, i'd be wondering wtf? Storyline-wise, it was stupid to add that in the last 10 min anyway. It was like a 5th grader wrote the script.
8. On top of everything else the resolution on Kissasian sucked.
This show had more promise. Giving it a 6 was generous.
