Yes, agreed. I want more details so i can better process my stance on what he did with whatever knowledge he had i guess. In the end, it wasn't his fault, but just like Soo Ji, they will both feel eternally guilty.
Update: I bow down to him for his ability to deliver such a strong character...I am at ep 13 now and any scene he is in leaves me breathless because of the intensity.
Exceptionally done. Jung Woo Sung and Jo In Sung were crazy good in this. And Ryu Joon Yeol, who's character I rooted for in Reply 1988, was a joy to watch in this sophisticated role. I hope this gets him more and more roles with the caliber of these two. Definitely a 10.
So far, I'M IN! i was worried in the beginning that i was going to have to keep pausing because there was so much content in the subs, but that was only at the beginning thankfully. the previews look great for the upcoming eps.
p.s. his handsomeness is NOT hurting my eyes, right?
i would like to have seen some more background on that psycho kid. Like, why Jang Do Han was following him specifically. And, the kid's mother has mentioned that he has a history of bad incidents that they keep covering up. What are they? It would help me to understand just how much Jang Do Han should be kicking himself in the ass with guilt compared to Soo Ji who didn't come to the event that nite her daughter was killed because she was once again too caught up with work. Why should Jang Do Han have anticipated that the kid would throw a little girl off the roof.
Not a movie I'd watch twice but worth watching once for the cinematography and choreography, let alone the acting. I personally watched it for the lead,Joo Ji Hoon, and was happy to see him in this work. Excellent. subtitles are fine.
i think this show could have used a big dose of a plot twist or something shocking either to the characters or viewers. A good example would have been in this week's eps, to have had the fake king not only make her his concubine, but to take it further and mark his territory....to bring her into his chambers and have her drugged/passe out midway so she doesn't know whether they went thru with sex or not. And so on. Of course, I think this should have been done way earlier so as not to lose the audience due to boredom as well. I loved seeing the fake king start giving the real prince shit and I loved seeing the real prince enraged and acting out of passion. They could have done more with this. I also loved it when Ga Eun found out he was the real crown prince and she was pissed. They could have done more with that too.
I also think its stupid to think that it makes sense for a mask to be worn by "the prince" once he became king. But since this is kdramaland and that is the premise for the story, i'll leave that one alone.
Great acting by everyone, I believe Lee Dong Gun is killing it as the king.
ah, funny coincidence. it really is a cute drama too. He's quite handsome in it and he's so handsome in this drama too. i still have his abs painted on my eyes from the rive scene. lol
