So can someone help? I get that there was a dream sequence about having kids...but then they were reading the letter and it made it sound like he had a son already (by someone else?)...therefore she didn't want him to have a future son with her in order to avoid the same politics he went thru with his brother. So did he have a son???
i like this guy...am watching him in 5 fingers and hope he is going to be in something else soon...i see he's had a drop off...not sure if he's in military service? he is really good looking and did a fine job in this role. More please....
the ending was good overall, i just wish we heard less of her pontificating and laying out the rules of engagement for them. I had my fill of her character a couple eps ago. every time she spoke in this ep i cringed and wanted to fast forward, although i didn't.
am super glad they had the ending they did with the two brothers. That was good closure for me.
the queen dowager and that other girl was obsessed with the crown prince....there is pretty much nothing they could do to soften up my feelings for them in the ending no matter how hard the writers tried. they were miserable negative people with their own agendas.
i hope as many of the actors as possible win awards, but mostly Lee Dong Gun.
eps 9/10: Boring. He's getting to be a bit like one of those friends that gloms onto you. i don't really get what was so urgent that he had to call her at the end with a sense of urgency and then show up at her work *again*....
And frankly, from what i've scene, there's no way she was ready to even be asked to do that lunch. She doesn't have the drive, ambition, leadership, confidence, skills, etc to be in that role.
I do wonder, however, what the restaurant owner will say when he finds out she's been asked to quit. i just want to see more of their relationship, the restaurant owner and her.
i wish i could see the BTS with english subs as well. Cute film, but seemed odd why it was so short. I didnt like the singing/dancing in the opening and ending credits. Seemed out of sync with the concept of the film.
he's getting hotter every episode. lol *fanning myself* I am glad that he continues to have an increasing role. i have to check if this show is preproduced...whether the producers are adding more of him as a result of the flurry of interest by the fans, or if it was already premade. all i can say is good casting.
i thought the story was good and the acting up until her undying love for Ren was stopped by a single conversation with some ex from their middle school. Surely, what we had seen in her constitution would more likely have been to set that convo aside and/or speak to Ren or the other guy about what the girl said to her. For her to brush Ren aside when he finally declares he wants to go out was just unrealistic after how much time she had invested. A technique in the story to add some tension before the happy ending that i didn't care for.
Just loved his expressions, eyes and the general evil way he carried himself in Suspicious Partners. It took me a couple eps before it occurred to me that he was in Chief Kim. I have him on my radar going fwd and am going to try to catch one or two other works he is in. I think we are going to very quickly see him as a 2nd lead...based on the comments during the show I sure wasn't the only one who's attention was captured by him! I rewatched this movie today for the heck of it because when i first watched it, I wasn't as familiar with all Jo In Sung's other works. After watching many of his amazing tales, he is one of the finest actors and in this show I was impressed even more the 2nd time. I loved all the sex scenes - watching the evolution from trepidation to lust to love was really well done. The best scene for me was the ending. I have never felt like a sword fight was so real and so full of emotion and strength. I loved that it was indoors and that the place was falling apart as they broke everything in their way. It was a great scene. The worst part of the movie: I could have lived without the castration part of the movie...that was over the top.
Why do they always give us the best romances with sad endings Why!!!! Such a beautiful movie, I don't usually…
i was oddly thinking the same thing the other day. Why do so many of the good ones have tragedy in the ending. I HATE tragedy. But will still watch if its a high rated film or drama.
