Given what i think I know u like, i believe u'd like this. I've watched it twice in last year. He's really sharp in this and she does a good job pissing off the viewer on and off throughout the show. It will hook u quickly. Added bonus is that Yeon Woo Jin is in this as a supporting character. And he's good. I don't know why this has such a low rating. I would say try out a handful of eps. It might be because its heavy and complex and because they don't like some of her behaviors. <i had to reread some of the notes below, so i edited this> But, i wouldn't let that deter u.

i am confused myself. first of all, i've only watched up to 24. As far as i digested, Ding Shui is alive and can make herself look like Consort Lian. I can't tell if they are the same person or two separate people though.

Agreed. And I flip flop just as much. I kind of want to settle down with who I want to cheer on, I'm just not there yet. I know this much, i don't want to choose Rin because I am feeling sorry for him.

I'd definitely try this. It pulls you in within the first couple eps and there's a good level of angst and passion in this, although not as much as in Qfor7D's at this juncture in the show at least. I am on ep 22. Nothing beats some of those sexy husky-voiced scenes with Yeon Woo Jin. Or the complex acting of Lee Dong Gun.

With every episode, I am increasingly impressed with Shiwan's acting ability.

as of ep 16: voodoo puppets? this is so stupid. i am reminding myself this is fantasy constantly. i want to make it till ep 19 where i understand the romance action beefs up. a note here...i don't care about or wanna see more of the big-headed prince Li. I don't find his scenes funny...just annoying waste of time.
