The Handmaiden debuted at Cannes on 1 June 2016. Congratulations to Kim Taeri on her big screen debut 8th anniversary. She will always be my Best Actress! 💐🥰
This drama and kim tae hee deserved a nomination at the baeksang awards...
Revenant was actually nominated for Best Drama, Best Screenplay and Best Technical Achievement. I take it that you mean Kim Taeri instead of Kim Tae Hee?!
This drama is loosely based on true historical events, so there's quite a bit of political stuff, but the scenes are usually quite short. The actions and relationships of the main characters are the main focus and don't let the political aspect put you off from watching.
Kim Taeri not being nominated for a Baeksang Arts Award for a career-best performance (so far) in Revenant is a travesty! Just because she won in 2022 shouldn't be a factor. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
i have not watched this yet but i heard that it has a bad ending... can anyone tell me if the second couple ends…
The ending is quite subjective and I was happy with it. You should watch and make up your own mind, otherwise you're missing out on one of the best shows around!
Part 3 is very much needed. This korean Avengers needs to continue and become a big franchise.
I'd like that too, but it sadly won't happen due to disappointing box office results. It didn't help that the films weren't released in all countries, including mine. ☹️
It was criminal how Disney+ did barely anything to promote Revenant and they're going with them again!
