I liked our youth better if you ask me at gun point 🙈😂
I went into this drama genuinely excited, especially because the trailer promised a very different vibe from what we eventually got. While I truly like the actors... I really do, the final result just didn’t work for me. That doesn’t take away from their talent and chemistry which I appreciated in my review.
Thanks.
But it definitely a good movie 🔥 there is a lot of buzz around it so hopefully we might another one 🤞🏻
I genuinely feel bad for actors but it is what it is. I hope they get better projects in future!
You do make sense and I get why you liked the drama. I think I had very different expectations on how they planned to treat her journey in second half. While I don't mind her being the absolute diva villan she was, I was expecting accountability from the narrative. Not from her... I don't know if I make sense now haha 🤣
But thank you for reading my review gurl 💕 will go and check yours now! 🔥
The real issue was the ending. It felt abrupt and a little too open-ended( if that makes sense.) Thematically, it fit what the film was trying to say, but it still annoyed me a bit ngl. I was WHAT???! HOW ??!
Japanese dramas are usually so generous with inner monologues and of all moments to skip one, they chose the exact point where we desperately needed Sugiki’s.
That said, they absolutely baited us for a sequel and I hope we get one🔥
I really enjoyed reading your review as well. Even though we weren’t 100% aligned on everything, we agreed on the most important part that this was a good movie and the overall experience was 🔥 i gave it a 9.
Thank you so much girl for the appreciation and everything 💕🥰🥰
For everyone who is traumatized by closing elevators after Cherry Magic!, fear not - we for sure do not face the same issue here >>> LMAO this is what I was thinking when we saw him kissing !
Somehow they still made it feel expensive and tasteful. Maybe because they truly did take their time to build that tension and they were not rushing any scenes. >>> THIS. The tension wasn't child play's here. They built it up move by move, eye contact by eye contact🔥 i wish they gave us better buildup to that ending. Thematically perfect but emotionally lacking 😭
Great Review Kate! Damn gurl be shakespeare even when she isn't trying to be! 🔥♥️
I am glad everyone is sharing the same sentiment lmao.
I think they always wanted to have a part-2 and hence the ending. Like thematically it made sense, but it kept too open ended lol ( if it makes sense) haha
But loved it! ♥️
Thank you for the award and appreciation Lighty! ❤️❤️ Always ♥️♥️
Thank you for award Noir! 💕
I watched it because it was short but it isn't worth it 😂
I am also pretty much on the same page as you. I was also expecting it to be a bit silly or less serious based on poster and vibes lol.
But I also feel they rushed the second half. The acting was phenomenal but the pacing could have been better.
Entertaining review Katie! 🔥
This episode managed to be both hilarious and heartwarming at the same time. Khun Thee is definitely one of a kind.
Are his gestures completely over-the-top? OH, ABSOLUTELY. The coconut water, the full on flag welcome, the handwritten notes on random things, the emotional meltdown over the flight tickets. I couldn't stop laughing. 😂😂
BUT is he unbearably cute and painfully sincere about Peach? Also yes. Yes, yes,YES.
He is just so adorable. I love how he completely loses control of his feelings around Peach and is so devoted. All the blushing, the smiling lmao and the very obvious heart-eyes. Also, we also had the bang curl around his finger this episode too. All his over top the antics and the oblivious nature is so cute in a harmless , pure way. And I ma glad Peach realises that too! All part of Khub Thee's charm ig 😁
We also got to see so much more from Peach in this episode. Not just acknowledging Thee’s feelings but actually reciprocating them. It really feels like they bring out a softer side in each other, a side they are usually too afraid to show the world.
Also I have seen enough videos of Pond being himself to know how much he loves playing Khun Thee and it really shows. If you ask me who else could have played this role, my answer from the first thought might be no one. He is playing it to the perfection.
Honestly this might end up being my highest rated series of them together 🥰
Now onto my Thame Po heart. I’m sorry I know it's Mok and Rome but that distance scene. They knew what they were doing !! From the preview, it looks like we will be getting a lot more of them in the next episode too 🔥
Overall, such an entertaining episod!
I also enjoyed it but I agree with your comment on Kim Kang Min's acting especially in emotional scenes.
