It would have definitely worked better if this was an 8 episode drama. I was watching this because the characters were likeable but then they just conveniently stayed in the denial state for little too long 😅

I agree with the gap of 2 weeks definitely made things harder to process, especially since they paused on such a crucial, detail heavy episode. There was so much packed into it that the break kind of disrupted the momentum.

There is no mystery without few loose ends >>> lmao this. They still left few questions answered but I am really impressed overall!

I was on fence with them inviting people who had prior connections. I would have preferred with everyone came with a fresh slate.

I think all the ships so far are that past connection and somehow I am bored too. Especially William and Izaya. Also the special treatment to them in ep 9 suprised me...

I agree with wasted screentime on Aran- Tawan storyline. It had potential to serve us the angst to contrast all the fluff from Thee and Peach, but it was executed poorly. At some point they forgot they existed and then just abruptly brought them back!

But overall, this was a fun watch!

I also do not want to give any slack to his mother. There is no way on the planet she did not put two and two together that his father was abusing him. >>> She was so upsetting. Like how can you be so oblivious to your child. Like she actually believed that he is a delinquent and randomly fights. I think she knew and just doesn't wanna take freakin' responsibility!

For romance, I’d say this is the perfect example of meeting the right person at the right times - the plural here is important. >>> What a beautiful observation. I agree. Minase wasn't abused physically but he was going through things mentally! The expectations and everything! Hirukawa saved him too and vice versa !
