Chinese paladin 1 drama was surprising, FL encourages ML & SFL relationship because she has to be away due to plot related circumstance.
In an old HK drama where protag time travel to Emperor Qin era and is responsible for Qin becoming emperor has two lovers but in the Chinese remake they removed the other lover that he had. Most of the donghuas have harem and in the new Yang Yang costume drama his character Han Li has one main wife two implied wives and a concubine, luckily for the c drama 40–60 episodes won't cover him marrying everyone or in relationship with all of them, Han Li marries even a kid he saved when her parents were killed later when she grows up.
In a wuxia drama ML was supposed to marry a baby he saved when she grows up in the novel but in the drama they changed that, at least in Han lis case he is a cultivator who is immortal.
There was a donghua where protag is Space God, and he has so many ladies with him, he loves them all and flirts with everyone in his harem but no inappropriate behaviour he only flirts & still virgin, will be interesting to see a drama version of that donghua.

Novel/Donghua story
has happy ending and story is complete and has better ending, chemistry is good there is an intimate scene in donghua don't remember which character.

Both of them end up being his wives, while donghua version handles female encounters and romance better.

None of these dramas come close to the novel/donghua because changes are made for drama and best parts are cut and hard to tell story in 40–60 episodes and also cast did well it's just hard to do justice to the story unless they use big budget and film is the best way to tell story, because in these stories protags meet so many people and each encounter helps them get more powerful, and it's hard to show them all with earth-shattering fight scenes etc.

They are all playable on pc. Prices of all these games are affordable, you can get them on steam store during sale, Chinese new year sale. Games are playable on laptop as well. Except for Gujian 3 and Sword & Fairy 7, xuan yuan sword 7 all other games are playable even on lower end systems.

Check YouTube for wetv drama subscription, wetv is banned in few countries, so the app version may not be accessible there, but YouTube version of the app can be accessed.
Just type Tencent video on YouTube search you will find the site, it has this drama episodes but need membership it's cheaper than the app monthly subscription.

He is the protag of another drama adaption of the novel/donghua A Record of a Mortal’s Journey to Immortality, it's very hard to make a drama version of 1000 plus chapter's story in 40 episodes, total no of episodes is not the issue, but this story has earth-shattering fights etc like Martial Universe and drama version will nerf it, when drama can't focus on rich story world and it's characters and various fights they go with immature brat starting cultivation scenario while in donghua at least despite having a humble background Han Li was never immature, dramas like going over the top when the main character have a humble background at start only rarest of the shows try to do justice to the story and characters.
If one find a show has a donghua version, or game, it's better to check the original as well.
This drama version is very bad compared to donghua which is far superior in quality, even if actor was different the drama will still be bad.
I liked him in Who Rules the World if he is not that great actor he can still do well in Leading roles he is suitable for like Who rules the world etc, Jerry Yan also get criticized for his acting even got criticized for his ex gf marrying and him still single and being paired with young idol actress etc, when people start criticizing them it's brutal sometimes.

If you want fully story can play the game, main story length is around 40 hours, it has puzzles and maze like areas so might take some more time to reach the ending, gameplay is not easy as well.

Only sword & Fairy 2 takes place few years after the event of first game, while drama skipped second game and went with 3rd game story, rest of the games are standalone and even if Sword & Fairy 3 and 5 has 2 parts they mention it's either prequel or sequel except that rest of the games are standalone so you can watch both Sword & Fairy 4 & 6 without worry as it has different story, it's like Final Fantasy games or Dragon quest games each part has different story, and it's complete.
Game presentation of story is far superior to drama versions game has a plus ie immersion plus it has main story and side quests and more info about the story world also talk with npcs when visiting an area etc.

But still better ending than most shows I watched because show that starts great always have trouble near the end or at least few episodes one might feel they are just dragging.

1) Love triangle is there.
2)They are together from start to end because the story revolves around them, she is a ghost when he meets her first time, and only he sees her, romance angle start maybe after 10 episodes.

4)It's not bad or depressing ending.
I rewatched this show after a long time now I like it more, compared to many fantasy/supernatural dramas that came out around that time period this show was far better, story is slow paced don't expect big supernatural fights or anything like My demon or dramas like that but far better than My man is Cupid.

I enjoyed watching this film, good one.

I finished the webtoon and I liked it, part 2 of drama might include the cop from webtoon because I saw a guy on rooftop only cop has the reason to be on rooftop in the webtoon to catch suspects, they made a random guy from webtoon into a massive something in the drama, his lover in webtoon left him and novel writer was different woman so making them one in drama make this more complex and challenging for the drama team to make everything connect. Hope everything works out.

One actor is another country got sort of banned for taking a photo during a trip, his last drama was a big hit, these kinds of things don't make any sense, just bad luck for some.
