I think when Family: The Unbreakable Bond (2023) aired, it was not available for my region at that time & took some time as well, but after that most shows came to the app when it aired. Maybe region issue it will be available later I think.

Trust me I have seen worst compared to that this was fine but yes it's slow paced, same for me as well when I see characters that are shown as smart get fooled by easiest plots, one drama I watched was titled Ingenious one, but the lead fell in more traps than any other normal Mls who don't claim to be smart. The drama was fine, but I was puzzled by the title name & the character's action throughout the series when he was trapped by plots. In that drama as well, I felt ML was fooling viewers he had some intelligent plan, but he was trapped by bad guys & they even caused heavy casualties.
Compared to that The banker K drama impressed me, ML in the show don't claim to be anything, but his character contributes better for the story, he solved crisis more smoothly than leads who are shown as smart & ingenious, he also has a team, FL is more capable & smarter than him, but even she likes Ml of the banker dramas personality & respects him.

It's not bad, but if the writer can connect this part to either ML character building or plot development it will be more meaningful, I liked how ML dealt with selling the building & making a good impression with Bium D & I CEO as well the game developer.
ML wants revenge, he has to deal with a tough job, despite all this he is helping others solve their issues while finding solutions for his problem, despite all this show is slow paced taking its time telling the story very slowly. Also, the reason the game dev wanted to stick with the game was because of his first love, this scenario might help the drama gain good ratings. Since the show is airing on TV they would expect good ratings, if an adultery drama is highest rated drama then this kind of scenarios if done well can increase ratings.

The show is not bad, but I think writing might be the cause of some characters being smart one sec & next they do some blunder etc, also ML character is weird in the sense he is smart, but the character is shown getting trapped by writers intentional scenario to cause a hurdle for the character to reach their goal etc, He is calm in almost every scenario then act like he doesn't know what happened he even makes a fist & shown angry despite him being smart & calm as if he didn't expect this, or it's like so many intelligent scenarios happening in background, he was caught in a trap but at end he solves it superbly makes one think how can a person who can superbly solve that crisis get himself in the trap in the first place, ML character has superior insight in the sense why did he ask the intern if he finished the game & hinting about Easter egg, if intelligence scenario is taking place in the background i.e. him knowing everything but acting stupid but like a Puppeteer using others to reach the conclusion he wants, am I just overthinking or is it just bad writing i.e. one sec smart next sec breaking character & doing things the character shouldn't do, if the other side uses some earth-shattering strategy to defeat ML it wouldn't bother me much, but they derailed his plan with normal planning a person like ML can smell miles away, so many open scenarios like the young girl being asked by chairman to write name in Chinese character etc, she can act I have seen her first in 2015 drama and few other dramas around that period but here she was smiling weirdly like clueless person & chairman was acting weird, is there any meaning in this scene, why did ML buy home appliances for his employee, was there any purpose for this scene for story development. I hope I am overthinking & the writer can intelligently end the story on a high note. I feel like the writer is complicating the story if he has no plans but just go with the flow.
The show has many good aspects as well, like exploring story of guest characters will they be important when story nears it end, one character offered ML job if he ever leaves his job, this time game dev is happy with how ML handled the scenario for him.

ML is smart, Even if he is smart or not, it's not easy to make a perfect plan that is fail-safe, if the show has good writing things will work out till the end else it will fail big time. Good thing it's only 12 episodes, rewatching some 16 episode k dramas I felt it would have been great for those shows if they had fewer episodes.

I started enjoying reading English novels & other fiction thanks to Mark Twain before than only read comic etc when I was young.

I liked the show, the best parts were plastic surgery cases & crime solving till the start of brother's case, both leads were good, the woman who works in the hospital whose brother was saved by ML got more screen time in this drama, her character was good. Hint of start of romance near end, not bad.

Compared to many old k dramas & some new ones, this show is not bad, it's slow paced but not boring, depends on the person watching, for me, it was not bad, one time watch.

It's dark, deals with some dark & depressing themes as well.

It's a good way to end an episode, unexpectedly the show turned out to be entertaining.

Can you blame her, as a junkie he might have caused her family pain & shame, as a cop witnessing her brother get dragged as culprit & case getting solved as him as victim what can she do, he was not a great guy one can trust just because they say they are innocent.

The same can be said about ML in the sense few dramas of his I watched all has that same serious face that says I am traumatized, most of his dramas(5-6 years) I have watched either he has a disability, or he is an introvert, last one almost similar role in the sense he caused an accident which traumatize him etc, this time another trauma.
They act the way the characters are written.

She was cool till it was revealed she was the sister of the convict after that her character was breaking the character established, but next episodes will determine if it's badly written etc in the way she handles the situations next episodes.

That would be a very sad scenario for ML.

Not so far, ML had a GF who was murdered romance stops there, ML & FL works together no feelings involved so far as he is still not over his gf murder so chance of romance very low.

Show is good, better than expected.
