Yea as I mentioned earlier, this comment section is kinda like a cutie pie haters community; they only point out…
Hilarious. You actually made me laugh out loud. Infantilism. Do you even understand the meaning? Again, I'm laughing out loud. Why would I fantasise and indeed get off on MDL users demonstrating this trait. You've totally missed the point. Believe me, my fantasies are so, so much damn hotter and fulfilling and would never involve humans who can't achieve maturity. #JustSayin'
And... whilst I'm here, actually I don't love the two main couples. Quite the contrary. I think the writers have utterly ruined Kuea's character to the point of devastation. What happened to Kirin? Why is Kuea now so wet, insipid, childish and uncapable of doing everyday tasks? Bearing in mind he had and managed a house on his own. "I can order takeaways". Really? That was the best the scriptwriters could come up with? What happened to his former independent spirit? That for me in the early episodes made the drama interesting - yin against yang. Now it's all gone, and for me makes his character utterly boring. His apparently "beloved bike", his music career, his studies, feisty attitude. All gone. Why? In this regard, the script makes no sense and it riles me.
Diao and Yi - I honestly get and respect the comments. However, loved how their love scene was brought together from the perspective of filming.

So in agreement with you. They say it is only about sex, because a bunch of 10-12 year old children which these commentators come across as, have watched far too many bad BL dramas like the diabolical travesties which are the Gen Y Series, That's My Candy and Physical Therapy, to actually understand what a proper kiss, sex, desire or passion truly involves in a loving relationship. I can imagine them squirming saying: "mummy, mummy, ew, why don't they stop kissing, it's disgusting." I find it truly laughable. The directing of these scenes was excellent in my mind. Extremely believable of relationships where both Lian and Yi have waited for many years to express their love for their younger partners and vice versa. Again, that emotion was beautifully captured and especially when Diao and Yi kept laughing happily throughout the scene at the utter joy and contentment of finally being together and able to tell and express their love.

'Malnourished' 😅😅😅It's the first time I've seen someone pointing this out. Funny but True!
Gosh, the 2nd leads were too much for my positive spirit in My Bargain Queen. Too much jealously with no repercussions, so dropped over half way through. Life is too short for such frustrations for me. I actually just find the male lead laughably childish and obvious. However he was an utter selfish, narcissistic bastard at the dinner table, simply trying to make a stake to his claim through nothing less than pure jealousy.
Gosh! Sometimes humans really need to have a serious word with themselves. This ain’t reality. Just another damn drama trying to do its thing to entertain us for 55-60 minutes a week into escapism. If you don’t like it, you have a choice - move onto the next. There’s more toxicity in these comments than the blinkered thought it’s present in Lian and Kuea’s relationship. #JustSayin’

Me and you both, they were draining me of my enjoyment and simply leaving me angry by the way they portrayed women in their country - so I decided to take a huge step back until I found this one.

Haha! To give you an example. Did you see the same MLs co-star as FL in the terrible drama My Bargain Queen (which I actually dropped)? Dreadfully toxic drama. She was emaciated - the actress Wu Jin Yan, and the shorts they constantly put her in as office attire, really didn't help matters!
Well this is rather good isn't it. Quite the surprise. I managed to binge watch all 9-episodes in one sitting and really excited for episodes 10-11 today. And, actually, it is as everyone has pointed out, you need to get to episodes 4-5 to really start feeling invested in it and its characters. I'm finding myself engaged and even enthralled at times.
Huge praise for the female lead, I can understand why she's won so many awards. Thank fuck, we've finally got a Chinese drama where the female lead isn't weak, insipid, childish, malnourished and subservient to the male. Oh how I adore thee!
Contrary to quite a few of the comments, I actually really like the ML's character. He obviously respects how smart she is. He obviously respects her skills as a secretary and sees her as his calming force when no others can. He knows she knows him inside and out. She's also the only employee who fearlessly takes him on from the very beginning for his actions, hence all the reasons why he's desperate to keep her by his side. I also think he fell in love with her very early on in the episodes and most of his attitude is about nurturing her, mentoring and trying to make her grow stronger as an investor.
PS: In the early episodes, did the wardrobe department for the FL only have the same pair of cream and grey trousers to fit her? Bizarre!
I haven't watch the last ep yet, but from reading your comment I gather that they are strictly following the webtoon…
Totally agree. Really? Yongee and Jiha confession in the final episode! You know what I secretly think. I think the agents of both angrily kicked off to say they didn't get the screen time they were contracted to receive, so they dropped that in to appease them. Honestly, just my feeling #Snigger. #SoBadButFunny
Don't even get me started on the no kiss, skinship narrative. So pissed me off. Come on, let's be honest here and I'm going to be truthful in my thoughts as a former student who can only talk facts. I hugely respect it is following the webtoon, but if you choose to turn it into a drama, you should take note that your audience wants realism. Something for me where this drama failed massively and mainly because they lived, slept and wanted the approval of mum, so to finally get it, there's no way they wouldn't, as a good writers brain finally celebrate this. For me, just too much left out in this regard.

Thank you so much for your response. I too was expecting so much more from the ending. Don’t even get me started on Yongee’s confession to JiHa, where did that even come from? Why was it necessary? How did it add to the final narrative? Answer: It didn’t and who honestly gave a shit! #JustSayin’ .
I have to admit, I was really disappointed with this ending, bearing in mind how cute and fluffy the previous episodes were. Irrespective of the fact that Hae Bom finally stood up for his man to declare his love, I just felt like the chemistry dramatically dropped between the two.
What no final kiss? What BL doesn’t have a final kiss? They’ve also been living and sleeping together for some time, and let’s be honest, Tae Sung has been like a dog on heat for Hae Bom for what seems like forever. Surely, now that they achieved mums consent, it would have been nice to have a bed scene to unleash all that pent of frustration and desire. The ending just felt weird to me and didn’t flow.
the reason for me to drop this series is toh...he is really boring, irritating n I don't find anything that would…
The last thing Toh is is boring. Honestly? That personality, the quirkiness, of the scale thoughts and thinking and his obvious lust and desire for Nuea, can never be called boring.
Is Nuea supposed to be seem as straight who just "fell" for a man though? I mean none of his friends seemed surprised…
Thank you so much for replying . Others above have said exactly your thoughts, which I obviously missed whilst binge watching until 5am. I think my spirit and brain had turned off at this point, so thank you again:-)
