Ep 9. Done. #Snigger. Toh was never going to be a top with a man like Neau and he so fucking knows and respects this. Doesn't even want it! So funny, I laughed my head off. This is one of the things that makes this series such sublime writing for me, amongst so many other things documented below in my post. Love this so much:-)

Laughing aside, my heart can't stop thinking about Jao. I find myself wanting to take him in my arms, hold him tight and say, "you're beautiful. You're loved and oh so fucking handsome and sexy." I love the way his hair falls into his eyes. I want to tell him, "I desired you with your towel around your waste when you had #BLDramaManFlu" - you looked so damn hot. I'd happily fuck you!" His constant narrative of 'nosy', is like a 1,000 unspoken words to me - he's happy but uncomfortable by their words due to his insecurities. His friends and Sky massively get this. So very looking forward to his journey in this series.

...and this is why I find this drama so very, very enchanting. There are so many layers to it that I think the haters simply can't understand, as they're so lost in the TYPICAL world of BL dramas. Whilst this brings and needs an open, fresh mindset.

Hey there. Greetings:-) From my perspective, and I could be wrong, I got the impression that Nuea had never been in a relationship but had enjoyed casual sex with women, such as Kongkwan, but not a man, but again, this could just be my perspective.

Wow! What a fucking wonderful surprise... and it takes a damn lot to surprise this seriously open minded woman! So, when this serious first aired back in February I came here to read the reviews to get a gist for whether I'd like it or not. Gosh! they were scathing. More along the lines of the stalking, obsessive collectomania and feminine gay leads, but anyway, I thought watch ep 1 and make your own mind up. Got half way through and dropped it - felt, just not for me.

Fast forward 2-months and my Instagram feed was highlighting some lovely, heart warming clips, so on Thursday I came back here and re-read the comments and decided to give it another go. Blimey, I can honestly say, for me, this is the most SURPRISING BL series ever, so much so, I stayed up until 5am this morning to binge watch all 8 episodes.

Wow! Corniness, tropes and serious moments of cringe aside, it really is very clever, heart warming, sexy as hell writing, which I have to admit, seriously turned me on big time!! I find it hugely refreshing to watch female gay men as leads, something I haven't experienced in all the many, many BL dramas I've watched. Huge respect to the writers for this, and again, so very clever and thought through.

I adore the journey of a hidden crush turning into mutual love and respect for one other. Also adore Nuea's possessiveness, adoration for Toh's quirky personality, cuteness and commitment to his love for Toh, irrespective of whom he's speaking with - very refreshing coming from a straight, popular man who could in essence have anyone. Their chemistry and openly acknowledged lust and desire for each other is again seriously refreshing. To read such comments that Toh's moaning and whimpering is 'disgusting', just highlights to me that the commentators have never experienced true lust and desire for someone, or indeed enjoyed satisfying, unleashed, unbridled sex. In my mind, the two go hand-in-hand. Tell me a partner who doesn't wish to hear you're enjoying their attentions and in turn, doesn't get off on it?

Let's not forget, Toh's issues. This is a dream come true to him, something he could only have imagined. He doesn't feel worthy or deserving of Nuea's love and is massively insecure as to their relationship and future together. I'm especially looking forward to the journey Nuea will take him on to build his confidence.

The storyline with Sky and Jao I find especially lovely. I've never watched a BL that looks at body issues in a male lead. Don't forget, Sky was a player and now finds himself committed and so incredibly self aware and respectful of Jao's issues - just lovely! Again, you just can't ignore the expertise and excellent thought process behind the writing - truly excellent.

My highlights: Nuea: "How can you continue to be this bad at kissing! Hilarious:-).
Toh: "I'm not ready, but will be on Friday." Genius in my mind.

Don't think. Just watch it! It really is truly wonderful!

Well that was a huge disappointment as a season finale. Just felt like I’ve watched an episode filled with boring, senseless filler content. Seriously underwhelming.

What did I just watch? Why did I hate this drama so much? It felt like a whole load of nothing in my mind. And, Theo’s character, just really disliked it. Felt zero empathy for him throughout the whole drama - a terrible ML, just wet and uninteresting.

I tried to subscribe, but spent a 1/2 hour trying to get past the bloody annoying jigsaw subscription thing and couldn't. Do you have any ideas why?

Thank you for your oh so lovely message. I'm 100% in agreement with all your comments, especially those of Toy and Boss, who I felt showed evolvement in their characters. Seriously, Boss proclaiming his love was huge and lovely and done so very, very, well. Mork's friends were indeed the best.

I've adored this series from before it was on Gagaoolala, putting up with the incredibly bad subs because I simply loved the story telling narrative. Overall, it was a beautifully told, gentle love story that started out as a friendship which evolved into love. Beautiful. I didn't even mind the fish kisses and lack of skinship, because it always positioned itself to be this kind of drama. However, subtitles aside, it could have been so much better in my mind. #JustSayin

1. The utter shit show that was Por went on for far too long.
2. Introducing the ex at EP 9, seriously pissed me off. Why? Because irrespective of how long Mork and Fern were together, would you really entertain giving such 'warm' time to an ex that firstly demonstrated they were with you for your money, then cheated on you and openly asked you to let them go to someone else who could provide a better life for them? Really? Yes, I'm all about forgiveness, we all make mistakes, but I found this part of the narrative so unnecessary. Would have preferred to use this part for Mork and Tawan finally getting together love time.
3. Nadia's character - all about the money and not the personality. How naive to think love comes from money and stature. It took other women hitting on Mayom for her to realise his worth. Shallow character I had no time for. Especially considering her age and how much she'd failed in love up until this time.
4. Adored the uncles and their oh so wise words of advice.
5. Boss and Toy. To be honest, I just didn’t get this pairing. Really, in real life, I doubt this would have happened, but loved the writing of Boss’ confession in final. All I can call it is sweet.
5. Would I re-watch? No, I don't think so, but would be so, so open to a series 2 all about Tawan and Mork's ongoing love story, which we should have had more of in S1.

I absolutely adored this drama from South Korea. Respect to the team who had the foresight to unleash all 11 episodes at once. Seriously clever marketing, because with episodes running from 10-20 mins, the beautiful flow of the narrative and stunning story telling was able to be told and most importantly absorbed and remembered without having to wait each week to recall, rewind and digest. However, irrespective of the episode lengths they told the story so well and engaging in each episode to have me totally absorbed, much in the same way as Semantic Error with its episode lengths and stunning story telling. This is what Behind Cut, Tinted With You, My Sweet Dear and Nobleman Ryu's Wedding should have been - and for me massively lost and therefore disappointed.

So not surprised its Directed by Hwang DeSeul, who also directed To My Star and Where Your Eyes Linger - so very talented and totally appreciative and understanding of exactly what a BL audience want to enjoy and love. Also has huge understanding of the BL community. Huge, huge respect.

The cinematography was beautiful - some of those shots, so lovely. The chemistry between our leads from the outset. The honesty from Cha Si Won about his personality pretty much from the very beginning. Would just have liked to have learnt more about Hyeong Da Un's back story.

Speaking of Hyeong Da Un. Wow! Stunning features. Such presence on screen. Charisma. Calm and confident whenever he delivered his lines and cool ratio totally off the scale and don't even get me started on his deep voice. So fucking sexy and mesmerising - damn I could listen to his voice forever. #IsItPossibleToBottleIt?
