I find it seriously jarring to the story, as she’s obviously hugely invested and upset by her fathers condition and committed to finding the best solution to his surgery and ongoing quality of life. Therefore using Mr is what you’d 💯 use to a stranger. For me, that makes the flow of the narrative and feelings seriously off.

This is seriously messing with my head. Question: Why does the female lead call her father and mother Mr Lin and Madam Lin? Is this not weird? Yes?

Indeed. Indeed. So hear you. I’m all for a slow burn, especially with Tawan being in a relationship, but at 8-episodes, out of 10, we’re just left with going around in constant circles with no progression with the characters. So bloody frustrating in what started out as a good script.

He is wealthy, EP 7 showed him being filmed by a crew because he’s the No.1 Barista in Thailand. He only opened the shop there because of her. Stupid woman, allowing money and position to dictate her heart! She’ll see the error of her ways!
