I honestly thought it was going to be a sweaty, fucked-up marathon affair. Well, that's what my libido was telling me and routing for on their behalf. However, I feel what we got was nicely done, although limited. It was sensually depicted and I particularly liked the dialogue between the two - short, but oh so sweet; and considering we have an idol as a ML. Men did good. Men did good indeed.

What an episode! What an episode! I'm absolutely captivated by the writing of this drama, it's just so slick and original. Ito Asahi and Muto Jun were made for these roles, they're both just such captivating characters to watch and listen to on-screen. Sei's dialogue is just so laid back and matter-a-fact. He appears to just go with the flow, yet us as viewers, have witnessed his inner turmoil. "I want to have sex with you Mr Nakarai." His response, a simple, yes.

Hilariously, I thought we'd see them banging away hard at it like horny monkeys. However, what they did show I found beautifully sensual and thoughtful and especially the dialogue between them. I also like that we're left with knowing that they did indeed bang the morning away. That's my boys. Huge respect to you.

Yes, I agree, it does feel like this was written for people newer to BLs. I find myself struggling with how it lacks any kind of depth to the point where it is totally unbelievable. It really does just skip the basics when it comes to storytelling.

Nah, nah, nah. This just isn't it Taiwan! What is going on with you lately? Apart from "See Your Love", it's all been seriously lacklustre.

The dynamics between the two leads simply doesn't work. Whoever thought it would be a good idea to cast Muji and Andrew as a love pairing, in my opinion, got it so spectacularly wrong. There is absolutely zero believable love, chemistry or sexiness between these two, to the point where I can literally see they're reading this seriously lacking and lazy script, which in turn, doesn't help the acting to deliver their characters with any kind of conviction. Xu Lu Hui's mannerism's are far too childish for me to believe that Yu Xing would fall for him. More believable would be Yu Xing with Xu Lu Xi or Ye Bing Chen, although I don't have an issue with the casting and pairing of the 2nd leads.

The problem is the script is lazy and also the directing, so therefore jarring. There's been absolutely no effort whatsoever, to make any attempt to build the romantic storyline between all four leads. I'm left thinking: "Oh, ok, so that just happened" - which included that confession and sex scene, with pitiful kissing. It also depends on far too many tropes. Honestly, tell me one human being who has ever tripped, fallen and landed on someone's lips?

These days I need more depth from my BLs. If this was back in 2018, I'd probably be more forgiving, but not today with such a plethora of well-written BLs to choose from.

I honestly think we're saying nearly the same things, however, I think in different ways, which is what I like about this here forum, but also despise it, for a lot can be lost in translation among so many languages and cultures. So, for me, it's nice to take a step back and think about what the respondent is saying.

I agree in part. I just don't feel Sei wants all of him, just a sniff of him at this stage would make him feel less worthless. I mean the toe thing, - what was that about? I was so confused by that. I was surprised he touched him. And, I mean really surprised. That's the power of this writing. Fujisawa needs to take ownership of the situation he finds himself in, because, he simply hasn't had the balls to say 8 simple words: "I don't want to have sex with you."

I want to also know what made the girlfriend choose to return her vagina to a virgin? After all, she did go to a Love Motel on the first night they confessed to each other. I agree with your comment, it really wouldn't be easy for Sei to leave, as after-all, Fujisawa is his only family in the world. So, I can see how hard it would be for him to leave. Yes, I hear you, however, I don't think you can compare asking for a TV and asking for sex - they're just world's apart in my mind. I'd just love to understand why Fujisawa won't have the conversation with Sei, as he's clearly so very, very uncomfortable with his constant advances. Part of me thinks he honestly, truly loves him, but not in a sexual way, yet is absolutely terrified of losing him, because as he said, he is prepared to spend the rest of his life with him. Can't wait to find out.

Oh, how I laughed my head off at that opening scene in the restaurant. Sei is just so damn nonchalant and matter of fact when speaking about sex with Hagiwara. I just adore his deadpan delivery.

"Are you picky during sex?"
"She won't have sex with you because you're self-centered?"

"Or, being pushy when she's not even wet?"

Absolutely hilarious writing and so damn original and captivating. It's refreshing to find a writer and indeed a female writer, who hasn't shied away and instead owned the nuanced subject of sex in all its many and varied complexities. I just love the way the script just lays it out there. It's refreshing. Innovative and a subject I haven't seen dealt with in a BL with so much honesty, humour and at times sheer exasperation and sadness. To me, this writer both likes sex and most importantly, understands it.

Have to say Sei and Fujisawa's relationship is seriously fucking with my head. One minute I think Sei is purposefully trying to push Fujisawa's buttons, simply to get a rise from him - that whole conversation about purchasing a TV said that to me and then in the next breath, he says he doesn't want one and then seems delighted when he does. Then, we have Fujisawa, all invested over poor Sei's toe, only to press down on it so hard, why? Also, Sei knows Fujisawa doesn't want to have sex with him, so why does he keep pressing the matter - again, I think he's trying to get a rise out of Fujisawa, desperate for him to face the subject and simply tell him why! Sei, leave the poor man alone, accept his conditions, or straight out ask him: "Why won't you have sex with me?"

As to the girlfriend, same question: "Why won't you have sex with me?" Simple. Depending on her response, I'd simply pack my bags and leave or we work through it together, possibly through counselling.

Anyway, it looks like our boys are going to have sexy time next week. Whoop! Whoop! They're going to be banging all night long. Damn, I've never been so excited to see a sex scene.
