Actually even initially I had doubts on that because 5 senses mean she should be blind, deaf, etc etc. But she's not. So they're implying specific 5 senses. Like in place of her vision, she's instead colorblind. In place of hearing, she's instead tone-deaf.
Which means she can use them but not use a specific function of that sense....
