I'm currently watching this drama but I can't seem to get really into it because of how the female lead is always in the face of the male lead. Like she does have that much time on her hands! I'm getting sick of it! I don't have an issue with the FL liking the ML first and wanting to express her feelings to him but gosh her strategy in chasing him comes off as "too much to handle" or "always in the ML's face". It's like despite being a reporter, she doesn't have much work to do and all she does is go to the fire station almost all the time and disturb the ML. I'm two seconds away from dropping the drama because I just can't deal. Men! can she bring it down a notch?!
And she going into the fire to save him when he was trapped? Does she even know about the safety measures of the fire department? What happened to telling the firefighters that their captain was trapped in the building and would need saving ASAP?
I like the acting of the actress but the character she played is just giving me the "delulu, obsessive FL with nothing else to do than follow the ML around" vibe and I'm not liking it

She a very good actress who emotes well. She'll do well with her rrole and the drama

Did she talk to you about it? The way you typed "ask SJY if it's really resolved" made it look like you had a one on one conversation with her and she expressed her grievance on the matter to you. I'm sure you don't know about how she still feels on the matter and getting mad and hateful on her behalf isn't really good for you. It's a matter between she and the guy and it's probably long forgiven and forgotten. Sometimes, forgiveness heals the pains and scars that one bears or carries in their heart and helps them get over it. Dwelling on the past won't make the pain heal, it will only make bitterness fill one's heart and one may never recover from the hurt. It's okay to get over issues so one can move on to better things in life so please try not to get angry on behalf of celebrities on matters that may have been resolved in a long while

Celebrities or people whose first language is not English don't necessarily have to be able to speak English. It's not a criteria for success in thir case. If most Koreans and Chinese celebrities can't speak English, it's fine. It's not their language or dialect anyways and they should speak their language with pride. The way you're praising these ones that can speak English is actually very funny. You don't see an American, Australian or British celebrities speaking other languages often except for those who love to learn languages and very few of them at that so I don't see why it should be a point of commendation for Asian artist who can and a point of condemnation for those who can't.
These Asian artists grew up in their countries where their dialect is their official and primary language. They don't have to know English. If you want to watch their contents, use your subtitle button or learn their language if you want to...

The way I see it, the cop wasn't even a potential love interest of the FL. They went to the same high school granted but the reason he had anything to do with her in the present was because he suspected her of murder and then he lost someone important to him because of "her". He eventually took pity on her and decided to help her when he learnt about her situation. I personally believed that he stuck with her that long because he wanted to get rid of the Spirit (possessing her body) that killed his partner but when she went blind, his sympathy intensified and he just stayed by her to continue helping her. It doesn't necessarily translate to him having romantic feelings for her. The premise of the drama wasn't based on romance and hence, irrelevant to the story. Viewers just "saw" the "potential" chemistry between them, liked it and ran with it. If there were to be romance between the lady and the cop, they'd have worked more on it but it doesn't matter to the general plot of the drama. I didn't even care about the romance, I just wanted to know what happens next as I watched

Wow! I could feel the maliciousness in your comment? You think because you her parents are rich, she's buying her way through dramas? So being the daughter of a rich mogul or whatnot, she can't follow her passion for acting devoid of her father's help? Did you ever think that what might give her an edge of being cast in dramas cos she has a fan base as a Cpop idol? There are lots of actresses that can't even act as she can and yet they get roles in dramas as well. That is to say that Esther can act. Maybe she needs improvement but she's not a bad actress. I've only ever watched her drama, Love Between fairy and devil and she did pretty well.
So please stop making malicious comments toward others, whether they're actress or not...

You nailed my thoughts. Like two male actors cannot be portrayed as friends in a drama in peace without viewers turning it sexual. Can't we just celebrate friendship, the backbone of all relationships? The importance of friendship is being sidelined and I think that's dangerous. It's bothers me when I see this. Viewers already making bl edits out of this and insinuating something different from what the writer and director might have intended

Yes. Normal friendship between two males is bromance while normal friendship between two females is sismance. I was referring to the part where you said there was no bromance vibe, just normal friendship. I was just saying even the normal friendship is still bromance as long as the ones involved in the friendship are males. Also, that bl adaptations just borrow the term "bromance" to describe their censored bl dramas. The term is not really meant for bl dramas and adaption if not for censorship

This drama is not a bl adaptation. It depicts close friendship between two doctors. I mean friendship shouldn't be cancelled out from types of relationship right? Because really, it is the backbone of every relationship so it's good that dramas depict great friendship between two persons of the same sex or opposite sex. Not every drama has to be about romance. If you like you some gay romance, you can watch Thai Bls and please stop sexualising every bromances. Give room for friendship to be celebrated. Not every relationship has to result into romance

The viewers are right to call the relationship between the leads as bromance and there's no confusion there. The term is also used to portray censored bl dramas which I think made some viewers misinterprete the true meaning of bromance

Uhm...Bai Lu emotes really well especially in her earlier works like Arsenal Military Academy, The Legends and Jin Liu Overlord. I think the roles she got after those ones (especially for the romantic dramas) had her acting well romantic. I couldn't really watch her dramas after those ones. The only dramas of hers that I have liked after those are Till the End of The Moon and Story of Kunning Palace. But I think if she gets to play other variety of characters she'd do well.
As for Songyi, I'm just planning to try out her dramas to see if I'd like them

She didn't do anything to her face. I think her stylist is trying to change her look from cute girl next door to a sexier edgier look hence the change in her style of make up. The contouring and highlighting the stylist does on her face is different from before. Even the lipstick shades used on her lips are to make it look soft and "addractive"

Lee Yeon had always been a good brother to Rang and like he said, he didn't abandon Rang. I personally think he didn't go to Rang when he was dealing with Imoogi because he didn't want him to know about the existence of his brother cos if Imoogi knew he had a brother, he'd have used him as a leverage to get Yeon to give him all his power and position and Yeon would probably have conceded. I mean look what Imoogi did with Yeon's lover, it would have been worse with his brother so he left him safely on the mountain but Rang interpreted the absence of his brother to mean that he abandoned him because of his lover and went berserk to the point that he massacred the whole population of a village. Judging from how Yeon lets Rang follow him everywhere to the point that Rang became attached to him, it's obvious that Yeon really cares about Rang even through they're half brothers. Rang didn't just think outside the box and went to make a deal with his brother's arch enemy so that he could make his brother's life miserable not knowing that the enemy had much more plan than that...

He has played different roles in his past dramas and he nailed them and did well but after a while, he started getting scripts with average plot and you know how that goes. If his roles now are similar, at least he's getting recognised like he should have and I'm sure he'd be getting diverse roles as time goes on...I like how he can express different emotions with his micro expressions...
