I'm still wondering why people are feeling bad for both Jaemin and Soohyun. I think they should try and figure themselves in that kind of situation (imagine that they are Daon entangled with those psycho ass men, badly treated like they did him) and try to see whether it'll be a pleasant experience for them. Both men are bad for one's health, it's better to extricate one's self from their company. No second guessing...

I understand your point but I think the issue here is that OP fears that Yanan may become popular more than Li Hong Yi to Which I responded that there's enough space for both of them to shine. Neo did gain more popularity after the airing of FoF, along with the other cast, to each of them his/her own measure of popularity. So, there's nothing stopping LHY and Yan An from gaining more popularity after Hidden Shadows airs. There's enough space for them, really.
Regarding the mistreatment aspect, a lot of things happened onset that were referred to as mistreatment by fans but since I'm not on set with the crew and I don't really know the full story, I can't make any comment about it.

It's a one time remark that was made about 9 years ago. I don't have time and energy to keep hating on someone for that long. Yes, the remark may have been stupid but it was made 9 freaking years ago and there's no proof that he's a misogynist and has remained so (if he's currently convicted to have done something stupid, then it will be a different case entirely, but he's not). It will be so unfair to him for him to be hated on. From time to time I come across men with misogynistic mindset. I don't hate them for it, I simply know that that's just how much they know. They only need someone to put them in their place or enlighten them or if you can't take it, just don't relate with them on that pedestal and that's it. But hating, nah I won't. I'll not defend him but I won't hate him either. I don't have the energy to focus my emotions on hatred and constantly going on social media to spread shit about an actor because of one stupid comment they made 9 years prior. They may have acted stupidly at that point but they and get enlightened more everyday. Do we all (for the most part)?

You must really have a problem that needs prompt attention for hating an actress just cos you think this actress has evil vibes when she didn't even do anything wrong. This could translate to you trying to build a bad reputation for her and she's just only starting her career.

Why are you "fearing" for the popularity of Yanan and why do you think LHY will get less screen time because of his popularity? LHY is the main lead of the drama, THE MAIN LEAD, while Yanan plays supporting character. If Yanan plays a second lead character and has a moving story, of course viewers are gonna be moved and love him but that doesn't mean that he'll overshadow LHY. There's room for all of them to get popular. Moreover, LHY has been known for a while now, since that drama with Xing Fei while Yanan is just getting popular and I think he deserves the popularity. I like LHY and I'm starting to like Yanan and I think both actors can shine without overshadowing each other. There's enough space for both of them to have increased popularity

The Judge from Hell is the first drama of this actress that I've watched and I must say that she did a pretty good job with her character. I would like to say that Cheng Yi is not in too many dramas, in fact he needs more drama roles provided he can handle it. That guy had been working hard in the industry for years before he finally got recognition for his role in "Love and Redemption". He doesn't need to be replaced with Richard Li because he's a fantastic actor who deserve fantastic roles. The Chinese entertainment industry is large enough to accommodate both of them and their talents. Instead of making that remark/suggestion, you should request the company that Richard Li is under to bill him for full length dramas with great plots, that will be more like it.
I've been hoping that Richard Li would get featured as a ML in a full length drama and still hoping (I would be binging the drama pronto when it happens provided I have the time to) but would never wish that he replaces an actor who has been working had to build his career and profile.
Like I said, the industry is large enough to accommodate both of the actors and their talents. No need to wish any replacement of one actor with another. It won't happen anyway

I'm currently watching this drama but I can't seem to get really into it because of how the female lead is always in the face of the male lead. Like she does have that much time on her hands! I'm getting sick of it! I don't have an issue with the FL liking the ML first and wanting to express her feelings to him but gosh her strategy in chasing him comes off as "too much to handle" or "always in the ML's face". It's like despite being a reporter, she doesn't have much work to do and all she does is go to the fire station almost all the time and disturb the ML. I'm two seconds away from dropping the drama because I just can't deal. Men! can she bring it down a notch?!
And she going into the fire to save him when he was trapped? Does she even know about the safety measures of the fire department? What happened to telling the firefighters that their captain was trapped in the building and would need saving ASAP?
I like the acting of the actress but the character she played is just giving me the "delulu, obsessive FL with nothing else to do than follow the ML around" vibe and I'm not liking it

She a very good actress who emotes well. She'll do well with her rrole and the drama

Did she talk to you about it? The way you typed "ask SJY if it's really resolved" made it look like you had a one on one conversation with her and she expressed her grievance on the matter to you. I'm sure you don't know about how she still feels on the matter and getting mad and hateful on her behalf isn't really good for you. It's a matter between she and the guy and it's probably long forgiven and forgotten. Sometimes, forgiveness heals the pains and scars that one bears or carries in their heart and helps them get over it. Dwelling on the past won't make the pain heal, it will only make bitterness fill one's heart and one may never recover from the hurt. It's okay to get over issues so one can move on to better things in life so please try not to get angry on behalf of celebrities on matters that may have been resolved in a long while

Celebrities or people whose first language is not English don't necessarily have to be able to speak English. It's not a criteria for success in thir case. If most Koreans and Chinese celebrities can't speak English, it's fine. It's not their language or dialect anyways and they should speak their language with pride. The way you're praising these ones that can speak English is actually very funny. You don't see an American, Australian or British celebrities speaking other languages often except for those who love to learn languages and very few of them at that so I don't see why it should be a point of commendation for Asian artist who can and a point of condemnation for those who can't.
These Asian artists grew up in their countries where their dialect is their official and primary language. They don't have to know English. If you want to watch their contents, use your subtitle button or learn their language if you want to...

The way I see it, the cop wasn't even a potential love interest of the FL. They went to the same high school granted but the reason he had anything to do with her in the present was because he suspected her of murder and then he lost someone important to him because of "her". He eventually took pity on her and decided to help her when he learnt about her situation. I personally believed that he stuck with her that long because he wanted to get rid of the Spirit (possessing her body) that killed his partner but when she went blind, his sympathy intensified and he just stayed by her to continue helping her. It doesn't necessarily translate to him having romantic feelings for her. The premise of the drama wasn't based on romance and hence, irrelevant to the story. Viewers just "saw" the "potential" chemistry between them, liked it and ran with it. If there were to be romance between the lady and the cop, they'd have worked more on it but it doesn't matter to the general plot of the drama. I didn't even care about the romance, I just wanted to know what happens next as I watched
