Choppy Dec 19, 2025
I know I'm super late but I wanted to say that this is a Korean movie not a Chinese movie. I didn't even bother to watch, not because they changed the actors (that happens a lot probably due to schedule conflicts) but because I know that the story will change. It will not continue from where the previous part ended. I'd prefer a continuation not an entirely different story.

Even though there is Yang Mi, it only gets 7.6. Why do so many handsome young actors still dare to use ugly old…
Go stick with your handsome average actors and stop calling people ugly...it isn't very nice. Don't be unnecessarily mean

I don't think it's her fault. They should've booked her when they announced the second season and plot points…
She was recast due to scheduling conflicts. According to her company, she is involved in several other projects, including an upcoming office romance drama. Production cannot wait for one person because everyone involved; actors, crew, writers, and broadcasters; works with overlapping schedules and fixed timelines. Waiting for one actor risks losing the entire season window.

Dramas aren’t shot on vibes or loyalty; they’re shot on contracts, budgets, and broadcast slots. Delaying production means wasting resources, especially when bookings have been made and contracts signed.

The fact that her company explained the situation shows that this was discussed and mutually agreed upon. These companies are business-oriented and will naturally prioritise projects that align better with existing commitments.

The production team cannot be blamed for moving forward. The actress made her professional choice, which is completely normal in the entertainment industry. Scheduling conflicts happen all the time, and viewers should understand that. Personally, I don’t see it as a big deal, it’s just how the industry works.

Title To My Shore
For everyone angry with the plot of this drama, the screenwriter, actors and Fan Xiao's craziness, obsessiveness and possessiveness towards Shu Lang and even calling the plot of the drama Lazy writing, please know that there's a type of literature called "crazy unhinged literature" where the author simply says "let me remove my filter and let my mind run wild".

This type of literature explores issues like obsession, madness, despite, rage, desire, mental breakdown and so on, in short, the characters are toxic as fck. Characters are emotionally unstable, traumatised, lonely to the point of despiration, morally conflicted, afraid of love but addicted to it.

The characters are aware of how chaotic, emotionally draining their relationship is and how unhealthy it is yet they can't let go and are drawn to each other. For example, even after Shu Lang learns of Fan Xiao's wiles, he's still drawn to Fan Xiao, can't bear to leave him and they eventually get together. Their love is based on obsession and possession, yet that is their dynamics. They are both broken and are traumatised (although differently and the effect on them is different. In fact, Fan Xiao is broken beyond repair. I think watching his mom drawn right in front of him killed something inside of him. He had to survive in his family by learning to be manipulative. That becomes a way of life and getting what he wants. If we are to look at it, he needs help to see that he can get by in life fairly without resulting into mischievous means) and both are hanging on to each other like they're each other's last hope. It goes with the saying "misery loves company" but in this case "misery loves company held together by obsessive love"

This type of literature believes that every human harbours a dark side, even if most people never act on it because of moral boundaries. Instead of suppressing this impulses, the writers brings them to the forefront through carefully constructed characters

This kind of comment is exactly why harmful social behaviours still thrive.
Body-shaming someone’s height, nose, or body type doesn’t prove anything about their acting talent.
Leo Luo’s skill and discipline are undeniable, and reducing him to physical traits is unfair and unnecessary. If you don't like him, simply walk away, you don't have to come on his page and be nasty...

What's with this 'age not matching ' comments. There are people who look 40 but are 20. So they are not supposed…
Honestly, that's how people are and it's mean. They be praising Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas real life couple with the age but dissing fictional couple with age gap. It's ridiculous and just plain mean...

Go to germany or france and half those guys in hotels (that are required to know english btw) don't even know…
English is not as "global" as you think it is. Accept it and move on.
That actress doesn't have to feel embarrased because she can't speak English. There are many countries where English isn't even their native nor official language and that is fine. I just don't understand why you got triggered by people's comment because they be telling it as it is. If she learns the language, fine but if she doesn't, it shouldn't make her feel embarrased...
Just chill...

"he discovered what being a character actor is all about" and didn't hesitate to say giving one's all, like so…
I would like to point out that this actor doesn’t rely on his visuals in his previous roles. He has mostly taken on supporting roles, often portraying the villain — and he’s genuinely good at it. In fact, many people didn’t even know him well until his performance as a villain in Flower of Evil, which although brief, caught viewers’ attention. His acting in that role was exceptional. Personally, I believe he’s the kind of actor who grows and improves with every new role he takes on.

Nah, I don't agree with you. I enjoyed watching "Blood of Youth" because of the character he played. He was hilarious, yet determined and very bold. Lie Wu Jie is my favourite character. He made me laugh lots.

Also just rewatching season 1 and i can see why i preferred it to season 2. Not that season 2 wasn't good it was,…
I kinda like season 2 better because it shows another side of Shen Yi. The Shen Yi I watched in season 2 is advancing into drawing the intent of criminals on paper aka their heart. He's leaning more into mind reading. Du Cheng on the other hand have surbordinates whom he's giving the opportunity to showcase their investigative prowess. He even made that guy (can't remember his name now) the team lead by the end of season 2.
Also, Du Cheng and Shen Yi cannot always be together, since there are more grounds to cover during investigations in this season, so they have to spilt themselves to cover those grounds. They both then had a disagreement at some point. This was when Shen Yi told Du Cheng that he wanted to draw the hearts of criminals to see how their mind works and Du Cheng thought that Shen Yi was getting too emotionally involved with the cases (which was true) to the point that he had to take Shen Yi off a case which led to them not being o n speaking terms. After Du Cheng saw the Atlas of Human whatever (can't remember the full name) that Shen Yi made, he came to understand Shen Yi in a new light and that gave birth to the beautiful discussion they both had towards the end of the season. This I believe is key to the plot of the story. It's leading somewhere. I hope there's a season 3 that ties everything together.

Until now I still don't understand why Greatin who is unsuccessful bl couple in gmmtv get more opportunities than…
GreatInn are unsuccessful? Nah I disagree. Wandee Goodday was one of the most popular bls last year. It's just that they don't got time to do promotional events and fanmeets like other bl pairings. Inn has his businesses to cater for and Great may have other ventures he's into so, they probably have not time for promotions. But to say that they're unsuccessful? Nah.
They did attend few events after Wandee Goodday where they got to meet fans, but nothing too prolonged.

When did IU become the worst actress in Korea? You must be talking about someone else because that made absolutely…
"scientifically shown"? What does that even mean? Acting is an art and very subjective too...there's nothing to scientifically show. IU is a good actress. If you think that she's not, it's your opinion and that's fine, but don't go casually throwing aro nd the phrase "scientifically shown" just cos you want to prove a point...

This is your opinion. I personally think that she acted well in Love You Seven Times but I just didn't like the sound of her dubbed voice and she did well in Born to Run as well. This is my opinion though, you don't need to invalidate my opinion and the opinion of others because you think yours is right. We are not just evaluating her acting from the same perspective is all

Good drama. Acting was well executed. One thing is that I'm still wondering why people are feeling bad for both Jaemin and Soohyun. I think they should try and figure themselves in that kind of situation (imagine that they are Daon entangled with those psycho ass men, badly treated like they did him) and try to see whether it'll be a pleasant experience for them. Both men are bad for one's health, it's better to extricate one's self from their company. No second guessing...
