From some clips I saw, the ML is always forcing himself upon the FL.I am not getting it from the synopsis.

Can someone tell me what this is about so I can decide whether to watch.

Fair point I guess.No offense, just my take on it.

Such a well directed & acted drama and all you saw are the location & costumes.Its your opinion but neither of the previous versions even got basic logic right.I always thought why the FL would make out passionately with a stranger on an island just to avoid being discovered (when she liked someone else) and the fake kiss with the finger between the leads just proves the director's superiority plus the cantopop bgm so well inserted in appropriate scenes just makes the viewing experience so good.Some things are just obvious such as the much superior cinematography( not just blurring the beginning of an episode to make it flashy) , the masterful direction, the most well explained plot, the delicate emotional development and of course the looks and acting of the leads.Chemistry is subjective but I feel the leads portrayed their roles perfectly and I definitely felt it was strong.

I guess then it's action/romance or the romance is also relevant to the plot.Maybe it's too much to ask but I hope to see a detailed emotional development between the leads and a consistently engaging plot as well but we'll see.

What's with the rating system?Episodes that haven't aired already got ratings.So the overall score is a joke?

Second Version.This was terrible The FL was unlikable and naive.She got kidnapped maybe 5 times in 30 episodes.The ML is disrespectful and the 2ML is a maniac.The plot is messy and illogical.The ML doesn't even know that the FL's boyfriend is her own brother until half of the drama.There is zero buildup between the leads It's purely Stockholm Syndrome.We don't even get a few more episodes of sweetness.Chen Si nails his role but who can save such a disastrous writing?

I would rather recommend the Third version by Nie Bo Xuan. It is very well made and this is how such forced love plots should be made-

This is 7 minutes longer than the yt uploads.I did see some cut out intimate scenes but overall it's probably just longer due to network issues in the recorder's device.

I actually thought they had good chemistry.I used to find her awkward in intimate scenes but the ones in this felt natural.I even thought she might be quite familiar with the ML.The production looked somewhat cheap but the leads are so gorgeous, especially Yang Shuyu who looks so beautiful here.Also, the FL actually put efforts here so I didn't find her giving that scary face look again but she had improved dialogue delivery and some emotional scenes were okay too.But she still is somewhat wooden and has a long way to go.The problem I found was with the plot.The plot is a actually decent but I felt it has logical flaws and was kind of incoherent.The trope of twin brothers wasn't really utilised well even though the ML performed very well as two distinct characters.Some of the supporting characters like the fiance were so good while some like the father were so bad in terms of dialogue delivery or acting.Overall,it's a decent watch though.The plot,performances and the romance line were all above average which is still not an easy feat in micro dramas.

Except for Zhang Chi's performance,I didn't really like this at all.The plot is so convoluted.I just skipped through.And I just wasn't convinced of their inseperable love.Its just two psychotic people torturing each other.The ML keeps saying 'I know you love me'.But she just wants to run and none of her actions are out of love.How did they even end up together?Maybe I had too high expectations,but didn't find it anything special.That said,Zhang Chi sure is a powerhouse.All his dramas in the past few months have been consistently great.This one was not to my taste but maybe I just couldn't understand it.
