I think since it is their second lifetime they can’t completely be the same, there has to be changes. Shi Yi I would say is probably abit different here, she is even more assertive, already knows what she wants but just as patient as she was in one and only.
To be honest, Nachen Wang could have had a mistress in his manor, his oath was not to get married or have children but he chose not to. Here, ZSC was going to marry shi yi without the blessing of his step mother.

I would highly recommend it. If not you would have so many questions. Some people say they didn’t need to but I would say in order to understand certain actions and reactions of the main leads you would need to watch one and only.

You nailed it, I agree with you and I am one of those viewers. Those scenes were intense enough for me. The chemistry was there. I didn’t need more. Their story and progress is why I love the drama.

I agree. For me the scenes that are intimate or supposed to be were intense enough for me, so much so that I felt like I was intruding on their privacy. For me, that was enough. Yes it is a romantic drama but they both brought so much to it that I don’t mind that there are no kisses.

I had a feeling that was the case. Talk about wanting something that does not belong to you. He knew what his father’s will stated but no, his greed won’t let him see straight.

As soon as she came into the study I knew the ring would go missing. Shi Yi knew immediately what the brother was up to as soon as he started talking. I wanted to slap him. The fool didn’t realise the ring was engraved with the date.

Don’t forget he had his side chick’s voice changed so she actually sounds like junling. I was completely stunned! How insane is he to go that far! If this was in modern day, I think schizophrenia is what we would call it. That was scary to watch.

But your opinion is based on what you are watching right now and you don’t seem to understand there is more to it than what this is. A summary does not capture the whole story. There is a reason behind her actions. You can’t be fully informed if you don’t know the back story. Fine, you don’t want to watch it but then don’t keep complaining when you don’t understand her reasons. If everyone is saying watch one and only to understand, there is a reason why.

I keep saying it is important to watch one and only first to understand the kind of relationship they have. Some don’t want to watch because of the ending and I understand that but it is essential.
