the second one. zhuang hanyan is the only legitimate child in zhuang family.
In the novel ML is neither married before, nor a father. Yu Shan is not interested in him at all. FL is poisoned to death by Yu Shan before rebirth because she wants to take HY's place and marry Prince Wei, her fiancé
the second one. zhuang hanyan is the only legitimate child in zhuang family.
Yu Shan is the killer. She poisons FL in the novel. ML is not her love interest. Yu Shan wants to marry Prince Wei, HY's fiancé. As far as I remember the girls hardly know ML in their first life as they move in different social circles. He is a Royal Prince, Emperor's brother.
So what are the chances of us getting the bad ending? I really stop trusting c-dramas lately with their love of…
They drive me crazy with those endings. It is one thing when the show has an original script or the novel has a sad ending. But they started changing the happy novel endings into the sad/open/nonsensical ones. Killing characters off left and right for no reason. Still mad about Kill Me Kill Me ending😡
Novel readers please tell me, FL isn't the biological daughter of the dead-beat father, is she?
As far as I remember in the novel both parents are not her biological parents. And her brother (they adore each other) in the novel is her mother's best friend's child as well. So both kids were secretly placed within a family to hide their identities. It is just her and the little bro soldiering on, their mum (who "adopted" them) is deceased.
🤷♀️ it's a completely different story from the novel so who knows? The novel has a happy ending. 📖…
The Noble girl is hard to find and The Star General are my least favorite as well. But I quite liked the general character. She was so optimistic and easy going, such a sweet-heart💕
I am sorry but this ML just simply doesn’t have the main lead aura at all & his acting is very so-so. I am not…
If he has the same "affliction" as in the novel his acting makes perfect sense to me and is on par. He must be way colder and very different from our opera loving, fan waving Duke Su. He is unemotional, aloof and frosty cold with major trust issues. He does not communicate properly with anyone, including Female Lead that causes quite a problem later on in the novel. Let us wait and see mysteries unraveled.

Ill-fated Consort for sure is the author's bloodiest and the most shocking novel. The MC goes through degrading and inhumane torture in the first chapter. After that she is on the war path and gets tough as nails. I would say she is the toughest of them all. Surprisingly the sweetest and the least revenge driven is the general MC from Rebirth of a Star General. She is a pussy cat in comparison with the Ill fated Consort or Malicious Empress.

I would highly recommend The Rebirth of the Malicious Empress of Military Lineage by the same author. If you are a tough cookie go for The Rebirth of Ill fated Consort. The first chapter is a difficult brutal read. But you have to read it to understand why she is merciless in her revenge.

I just realised that my least favourite novels are adapted. And my two fav ones : Malicious Empress and Ill-fated Consort are on hold. Beware Ill-fated Consort starts super gory and brutal. Hard to read, not for the faint-hearted.

Same author as The Double. My top one would be Malicious Empress (10) and the bottom one would be this one(7). I know you did not ask me I just could not help myself to show off🤣.
