I read the drama spoilers on youtube. I can spoil for you if you want. But not sure if it is true or speculations.

I know how you feel. I have been worried since day one. This nasty angsty arc we definitely can do without.

Yi Lin Na, in some translations Irina/Elina. But they might change the name or do this idiotic arc with another character. That would be a mistake🥺

In the novel he is only married to FL in the last chapter. He is single and childless all book.

I had a very strong dislike for this "foreign princess" arc as well. His behavior made no sense to me. I did not find any decent explanation in the novel. That was So out of character for him. There was something along the lines of him having three types of things in this world: the ones he did not care about, the ones that belong to him and Han Yan. He goes to war worshiping her and killing people right and left who looked at FL the wrong way. Next chapter he comes back and ruins her life without not much as a word🤔

Sorry, I did not make myself clear. I ment that reminded me of Song Mo behavior in the novel not in drama. He subbotaged the adult part of their wedding night proclaiming friendship and partnership for life. But as I said before he did not last long with that "partners not lovers" nonsense 😆

In Dramaland you can survive falling of the highest cliff and being pierced by thousand arrows. How can some pesky poison stop our ML from making babies? If Song Mo (Blossom) could do it surely Fu Yun Xi can do it too😆

There are vast differences in characters, backgrounds and events in the novel and drama. In the novel her maternal grandfather Tang Sheng is the master of Tang clan that specialises in creating poisons.

Your post just cracked me up🤣🤣🤣 It reminded me of Blossom (novel). Song Mo on the wedding night came up with the same marvelous idea. He deeply regretted it and did not last long. But Dou Zhao was unfazed just slightly "really?🤨 are you sure?" Men🤦🏼‍♀️😆

My thoughts exactly! Not everything they film gets a final cut! Sometimes they will film three alternitive endings and chose one or give us all three. Depending on the creators mood😄

I dont remember if she finds out before or after he returns from war. But at some point when ML asks her what she wants to do with this info about the secret of her birth she decides not to reveal it. By the end of the novel they are married and she is his Princess Consort. They defeat the evil Emperess and Seventh Prince so her birth secret does not really matter.

Indeed🤝That is why I questioned that post stating that it is a SE. I am aware of all bts YZ/WXY team intrigue, watched the drama, extra episode and read the novel. Even if you disregard that extra episode it is an open ending at best.

I have no idea who she is in drama but in the novel her father was a Marquis or Duke from the prominent family rivalling the Royal family. The late Emperor felt guilty over the events years ago and on his deathbed issued a Royal Edict naming the Marquis as his successor. That did not sit well with the Empress and she wiped out HY' paternal family. HY's mother was from a martial world, her grandpa the clan leader.

Whether it was a last minute decision or a long planned ending we cannot disregard the extra episode. Drama creators after -thought or not you should not dismiss it just because it was not to your liking.
