She is planning on travelling and he is staying. They are sweetly discussing it at the end. As I have not watched all episodes I can only speculate. But it looks like the creators friendzoned them. Confidants but never lovers. Shame as their chemistry was evident to me from the start.

I am mid-way and loving it. So watched the ending for the exact same reasons. I cannot say about the supporting characters but both leads are alive at the end going on happily with their lives.

I am mid-way and watched the ending. I would not call it a BE. Just bare in mind it is all about friendship, loyalty, revenge, politics and very thin on romance. The leads flirt, charm and the chemistry is there. But it is not an ending with a beautiful wedding and chubby babies. I am a sucker for happy romantic endings but looks like the creators decided to friendzone them. I still think it is a good ending as the leads are both alive and chatting away sweetly with each other admiring the view on the roof.

Try "Kill My Sins" with Liu Shi Shi. It might surprise you.

I counted 7 characters with double names. They either gave them all courtesy names (a bit confusing and unnecessary) or will try to follow the novel (rebirth) and introduce their past lives narative mindful of censorship in the form of dreams most likely.

But in comparison with the ML in Princess's Gambit (novel) in the dramas I mentioned the leads are green forest babies😄

Quite different not as dark as this one but with arranged marriage theme: General's Lady, Melody of Golden Age and New Life Begins. The Princess Royal as well, their first marriage was an arranged one after all😆

Initially they planned to present a story of little girl's biological ogical parents. So the intention to make her ML's adopted daughter was there. But looks like they had to make some sacrifices and now it is assumed she is his child with FL's sis. But as it does not make much sense to me I will go with creators first choice👌

In the novel he is poisoned as well. The novel has a HE, they get married, a proper adult wedding night and expecting a baby. If I remember correctly it is not an antidote exactly but the doctors and her poison expert Grandpa manage to suppress the poison.

Sorry, cannot help you with that. Glory is on hold for me. Since Kill Me Kill Me no matter how amazing the drama I stop mid-way and wait for the ending. I dont want one more PTSD under my belt🥹
