Side couples (if done well) can carry the entire drama. I wouldn't have been able to complete Eternal Love for example if it weren't for the side couple. In other dramas like The Long Ballad I enjoyed both the main and side couple.

Well you implied that you think it was an unwise decision to built it near the ocean. I only tried to explain that it had reasons and I'm not believing, I'm stating facts from documentaries. But yeah, not gonna argue.

It's not like they didn't have back-up plans but the earthquake was too heavy and the tsunami was higher than the safety walls that had been there to prevent exactly this from happening. They took precautions but those were not enough. And no one expected such a high tsunami wave. From our perspective today it's easy to say they made dumb decisions but it's the same in multiple other disasters that happened because people thought the likelihood of certain events was near zero and yet they happened. It's the way how humanity learns from mistakes.

Don't think downplaying bullying is okay. I've been bullied and know exactly what it means to hurt deeply because…
No, but I wish they were. They were forced to apologize and paint a wall because they had "decorated" it with my name and words like bitch or daughter of a whore and no, that wasn't the only thing they did.
Do you consider this a punishment worth of the years I suffered? I do not. And just because something is not punishable under law doesn't mean it's not a crime or can't be considered as such. They caused lasting damage, depression is just one of them. If I had broken bones I could've filed a lawsuit, but since it's "only my soul" that got injured, it's my bad? Sorry, but the law is at fault here, not the victims. I'm gonna stop here, cause I see no use trying to make you understand what bullying means since you said, you never experienced it. No offense but you will never know what it means to people who had gone through hell. Consider yourself lucky.

I hope you won't add the cases of bullying scandals due to 'verbal abuse' to this list. Not even that much of…
Don't think downplaying bullying is okay. I've been bullied and know exactly what it means to hurt deeply because of "words". Just because others can't see the scars bullying causes, doesn't mean they are not there. Some commit suicide because they cannot bear the pain. So for me, bullying is definitely a crime and should not be considered "not much of a crime". Sad to hear that some people think it's no big deal...

Great article, just the picks would be completely different for me, but taste differs. 😊
2020 has been a mixed year for me drama-wise. I found some all time favorites and some disasters as well. 😂

My favorite go-back-to drama picks would be:
- 30-sai made Dotei Da to Mahotsukai ni Nareru rashii
- The Romance of Tiger and Rose
- Reunion: The Sound of the Providence (not the best plot-wise because of censoring, but I loved it)
- Flower of Evil
- Manner of Death
- Birthcare Center
