I also go for certain cast members or episode count/length when I pick from my PTW list. The things I wrote about are more important for me when it's to decide whether I put a drama on my PTW list or not.
But in the end it's my mood that decides, even if I had other plans. 🤣

Sad and I recommend to have tissues, but still worth it. The author of the novel wrote a happy ending for them by the way, as a sort of fix up for the drama ending. Due to China's ban on BL content, BL adaptions rarely come with happy endings.
