Your question how many dramas in our top 10 actually include the death of a father made me curious. If I remember correctly my top 10 has 3 dramas with it. That's a higher rate than I expected to be honest and it would be even more when I count further than the first 10.
I enjoyed the father-daughter moments in Flower of Evil so much. They warmed my heart. Same with Healer, and yes who cares about genetics when love is the key to heal a child's heart. 💕

I would recommend watching at least "The Lost Tomb" before it, it only has 10 episodes anyway. That's what I did and despite not watching "The Mystic Nine" (the first in the series) I didn't get lost in the universe so I can recommend that.

I mean no offense when I say I first thought Charlie was female when I heard him singing Cocoon in the drama The Long Ballad. I was immediately in love with his voice. Even more so when I discovered that he is male as this makes his voice and perfectly mastered high notes even more astounding to me. He truly has a golden and angelic voice. It's so unique that I know now it's him singing just by listening to some OSTs. 😍

I started writing it, but I had important stuff coming up in real life which had priority. It will probably take a bit because like you said Dilraba is in the business for quite a while and I want to do her justice. I rarely see UFG articles, not sure why that is so.

Very interesting and insightful article. To me Chinese Dramas are like a coin with two sides. They manage to enchant me with good productions yet I'm shocked how much is censored and how censorship is quite random. Nonetheless I have a few additions to my watchlist now such as Princess Pearl, Chinese Paladin and The Journey of Flower. 😊

True, american shows tend to keep going until no one wants to see it anymore and often the story lacks after several seasons. Of course there are exceptions though.

I can't speak for all American medical shows but Grey's Anatomy is horrible when it comes to medical accuracy. One who did it right was ER (Emergency Room) and I guess there are always hits and miss for each country. A good one from Japan for example is Code Blue.

Agree to everything you said. While I can't relive the experience of watching something for the very first time, a rewatch makes me notice things I missed before. And watching the favorites scenes can be quite comforting. When I'm suffering from drama slump or don't know what to pick, I rewatch dramas as well. This way I get in the mood to watch new dramas. :)
