Same feeling on King: Eternal Monarch. So much potential with the fresh storyline but it just didn't deliver in…
The pacing in some dramas is definitely off and they often have filler episodes that contribute nothing to the story. I hate that, as it makes the drama unnecessary long and distract from the actual story. The trick is to figure out when a drama is worth watching with skipping a bit and which one should be better dropped. Sadly I do not have the solution to this yet. xD
True, good looks alone do not make a good actor/actress. ^^ There are so many reasons to drop, I dropped a drama…
Some of my most favorites are: - Mad Dog (loved it for the characters and well written script) - 30-sai made Dotei Da to Mahotsukai ni Nareru rashii (cute and funny BL story) - A Tale of Thousand Stars (my first Thai drama and I liked the story and countryside setting a lot) - Birthcare Center (fresh script and very funny yet heartwarming) - Code Blue (if you like medical dramas, this one is very good) - Definitely Not Today (quite dark themes but very good) - Guardian (2018) (my first C-Drama and I loved it so much that I rewatched it often) - The Romance of Tiger and Rose (really funny and lovely story with great cast) - The Untamed (the chemistry and relationship of the main leads is one of a kind-similar to the one in Guardian) - Age of Youth/Be Yourself (similar dramas, female centred and have great friendship vibes) - The Lost Tomb series (Reunion: The Sound of the Providence) (love the series, suspenseful and entertaining, be aware of the Horror tag, I'm a scaredy-cat but think it's not too bad) - The Boy Next Door (one of the funniest dramas I've ever watched) - The Long Ballad (has a lot of episodes but is worth the watch for its interesting story and characters) - Duel (well done thriller)
I liked your article very much, I couldn't egree more with your lessons, I've learned them, too... Specially about…
True, good looks alone do not make a good actor/actress. ^^ There are so many reasons to drop, I dropped a drama when a rape happened as I found the idea of the rapist and the victim ending up together disturbing or another one when I lost the motivation to keep watching it, it was okay but not really more than that. Not sure if I'll ever pick it up again, that's depending on my mood. Like you say, so many dramas out there who will manage to entertain me and keep me on the edge of my seat. :)
Dali Temple is special because the drama is sweet but the ending didn't do it justice in my opinion. So a mixed…
When I compare it to both I think it's good. Even Chinese movies who were in cinemas here (Europe) had worse CGI. I don't know much about custom design but since Eternal Love is playing in a fantasy world the costumes reflect that in my opinion.
Loved your article💗🖤,its so detailed and well written. I have to say we both have the same taste cause even…
Thank you! :) Haha yes, he was the persona of Cinderella's prince in the drama. Not bad in general, but I don't like that cliché of the damsel in distress who needs the prince on his white horse (pun not intended) to save her. xD
I read a spoiler about the sequel and was like "hell no, I already dislike Teh", I will only hate him for good…
That's the problem these people do not understand, just because I do not relate to Teh as a character or his actions does not automatically mean I hate him. I'm just not fond of his personality and how he acts based on it. You know what's ridiculous? Seeing a young man not realizing the door he tries to use to get into the subway is defect and him going straight back to said door and trying to get out of the subway though it's only 10 minutes after he first figured it's not working. No joke, I witnessed this today and had to keep myself from rolling on the floor with laughter.

If I learned one thing, you can't expect logic from haters. Don't take it to heart. I know that's easier said than done but they are not worth of your attention nor you thinking about them.

Oh I've been called many things, for example dumb or brainless for saying TKEM is badly written with plot holes. I wouldn't even bother replying to such nonsense anymore. 😂
It was Ji Chang Wook who made me fall into Dramaland, so I watched Melting me softly till the end despite the…
The last sentence is a fact. xD So far the only two dramas I ended up enjoying are Healer (definitely his best drama out there) and Suspicious Partner.
