From your list, I have just watched Melting Me Softly and TKEM. Both are huge disappointment. I dropped MMS because…
Thank you for reading, happy you like it. :) So much to watch, yet not enough hours per day. xD

I read a spoiler about the sequel and was like "hell no, I already dislike Teh", I will only hate him for good…
If I was Oh Aew I would've send Teh straight to hell. No way would I've been able to ever forgive all this heartbreak he caused.

The only one I’ve seen here is ITSAY and I have to say that I really agree about Teh and his behavior. He was…
Agree with you. Teh got so many second chances yet he betrayed Oh Aew once again in IPYTM. I couldn't stand to watch the sequel, reading about it was enough for me.
True. Some dramas need a bit of time to get into them because they start with a low profile. That's why I usually give them a couple episodes and always skip through more episodes before I actually drop.

My personal advice on Dali Temple would be to continue. The end might not be to your liking but I found the drama…
I only watched the last couple episodes of TKEM on big screen. :D If I binge watch I always do that on my laptop.

"don't hold on to a mistake just because you soent a lot of time making it" I love that quote. So accurate and…
Relatable but I managed to burn cold noodles before on my tries to cook... xD

I have a couple dramas myself that I would only rewatch in pieces and forget about the rest. xD

Totally agree with the selection of dramas and I just wanted to say thanks because with the little bit of info…
Thank you for reading. I'm happy to read it's helpful to you.
I still listen to the OST of The King Eternal Monarch but watching the drama for it, is not necessary. The OST as a standalone is good. The story sounds good but imo wasn't well developed. I suggest watching a couple episodes and see if you think you'll like it or not. ^^

I've never seen any of these dramas but loved your article anyway! Your lessons learned section was so helpful.…
Thank you! I totally understand what you mean. A trope that I cannot stand is love triangle with jealous, scheming characters. When they are omnipresent in a drama I'm gone. xD

Thank you! I agree with you but the topic is sensitive and it can always happen that someone feels personally…
You're welcome. Haha yes, I wasn't the first who did try this topic.

I had my fair share of people who thought they needed to defend their favorite drama or actor against me. Even constructive critic can be misinterpreted as hate. I'm glad no one seems to see ill intentions on my behalf so yes, I think I might write a part 2 once I have enough dramas to write about. First though I'll work on my other articles. ^^

I TRULY HATE dropping dramas. Part of it is that I hate not knowing how something ended. There have also been…
I made screenshots of dramas that introduced 10 characters and more in one episode just to remember the names. xD
Killer and Healer does have a good bromance but I have a love and hate relationship to it. To say why would be a huge spoiler though. You can continue if you want, I liked the characters and still recommend it for them.

Thanks for your insights. I wonder if dropping dramas is a learned behaviour? I think I am still a newbie and…
I would say it is to some point. Some find it easier though and others struggle more with it or even become watchers who never drop a drama. Before I dropped dramas I just stopped watching at some point and never got back to them, then I had a phase where I tended to give dramas lots of second chances until I got to the point of dropping dramas after one episode when the first episode already annoyed me and move on to others on my endless watchlist. ^^

Great article! I can relate to learning these lessons the hard way such as "It's okay to drop a drama at any point…
I learned to be "selfish" when it comes to drama watching. If I continue watching, I do so for my own reasons and not because of a hype or good reviews, certain cast members etc anymore. It's better to say "no" to a drama once in a while.

As someone who doesnt want to miss a really good drama, but neither do i want to spend time watching a drama that…
That's an interesting and also hard question.
For me an objective point to drop would be if the script is really badly written aka it simply doesn't make sense, has many plot holes that spoil the fun entirely or includes so many clichés that it lacks originality and freshness.
From the view of someone who dropped quite some dramas. I barely ever had the feeling I'm missing out on a really good drama because I drop it. Question is when exactly is a drama really good? Just because a lot of people say so? That never worked for me. Usually the hyped stuff is not catching my interest in the slightest. So those dramas might be good to some people but not for me. Most of the time when I drop a drama I watched at least 10-25% of it and if I didn't enjoy it by then, it's very unlikely this drama would turn to be a hidden gem for me, so I doubt I'm missing out on something really good.

Great article and actually with the way you did the article I don't think anyone would think to sway you, because…
Thank you! That's actually a hard choice you have on your hand.
From what you said, personally I would drop it. If that pairing is the only reason why you watch the drama and you know they will break up soon and not end up together in the finale, there's not really something that will keep you going.

Okay so I just know about two dramas from here - Melting me softly and King Enetrnal Monarch. And like you said…
Thank you! Well, at least you gathered experience. Maybe you'll drop dramas now if they feel similar. :)

LOVE your Lesson Learned because its true on so many levels. :D And I esp was kind of amazed that despite you…
Dali Temple is special because the drama is sweet but the ending didn't do it justice in my opinion. So a mixed experience. ^^

The CGI of Eternal Love might not have been comparable to Hollywood but I've seen far worse which is why I consider it good. Costume value is not related to color but rather the material used and how much time went into a costume. An example from "The Lord of the Rings" movies. The hauberks were handmade and people spend days using single metal rings they put together to make them.
I watched low budget dramas like Word of Honor who had to do with way less budget than Eternal Love so I think it depends from which point of view you're watching it. xD

great article! i realised most of these dramas are cdramas, i struggle with watching cdramas for various reasons…
Depends on the reasons why you struggle. I can answer you better when I know what you like/dislike. :)

Good judgement to dislike ITSAY because the sequel is just the worst oof-
I read a spoiler about the sequel and was like "hell no, I already dislike Teh", I will only hate him for good if he's doing that to Oh Aew on top of all. xD
