i love the color scheme ....great article ...was a fun read ....i skipped the shows i didn't watch ...cuz you…
Thank you! I tried my best with not including any details to not spoil too much but I understand why you skip shows you haven't watched and might plan to watch. Better safe than sorry. :)
Good article. Especially love the point about trusting my instincts more. Having to skip to a lot of boring scenes…
Thanks! I agree, comments can be quite useful when you're looking for info how a drama develops. Rather than looking for the needed info, I would post a new comment and ask for (spoiler-free) answers to avoid accidentally coming across a spoiler that ruins the drama altogether. I'm speaking out of own experience, sadly. Not all people hide spoilers or even realize what they said contains a spoiler. Kudos for watching TKEM twice. xD
Many years ago, I decided that since there are so many great books and I have limited time, I'll only read books…
I'm not that consistent in dropping yet but I guess at some point I might be because I share the thinking of only wanting to spend my precious free time on things I enjoy. Happy to read you find my lessons learned relatable. :)
I felt bad bcz I dropped eternal love after less than 10 eps This made me feel better
No need to feel bad. It just isn't your cup of tea. There are so many other dramas we can pick instead. :) I like your profile pic, it's beautiful. Is it from a drama?
I rarely drop dramas, because I watch them mainly for cast, but there are two I regret watching. First one is…
I can relate to that. I often come across dramas that are praised by everyone. Eternal Love was similar, the majority loves it, but it's just not for me. That's how it is. ^^
I admire you for staying with KTEM cause I found it an absolute torture and dropped it after 2 episodes. Deathly…
I've been a fan of Woo Do Hwan before it aired so it was set that I'd watch it for him and the story sounded interesting. In the end I stayed for him because his characters were lovely. Otherwise the drama was indeed torture. Agree with you, at some point I felt sorry for my wasted time so I became a dropper too. Like you I see no reason why I should bother watching something I do not enjoy. I noticed the hype about Vincenzo but most of the times hyped stuff is not picking my interest anyway, with Vincenzo it was the same. ^^
I must be one of the few people who loved I Told Sunset about You. It had stellar story telling and to me, a more…
Actually you're not. The majority of people I've talked to love ITSAY. So I felt like a minority. xD I could not relate to Teh most of the time and felt deeply sorry for Oh Aew. Falling in love with the same gender must be a shock if you ever thought of yourself as straight, I could feel empathy for that but I could not understand why Teh played with Oh Aew's feelings by pulling him close only to push him away the next moment because he was once again afraid of giving in to his feelings for him. He should've been honest with Oh Aew especially after he saw how he hurt him. This was not relatable for me.
I enjoyed (and related) to your article - thanks for putting it together! I am learning to drop dramas but I do…
Completing the dramas above helped me a lot in finding the courage to drop a drama. I guess I learned to trust my instincts and mood better while watching dramas. Now once I feel like dropping a drama I skip through the next couple episodes (amount depending on the length of drama) and if there's nothing catching my eye and implies it will change for the better, I drop it.
I was excited as well. It's sad how the drama didn't live up to our expectations.
Kudos for watching TKEM twice. xD

I still recommend ITSAY as it shows a different approach to BL genre.

Ah yes. Did you plan to make a series for C-actresses?
