I mean no offense but having titles here like "Jade Lovers" is not helpful as it have been shelved for over 5 years now and is officially cancelled. :)
Thank you, that means a lot coming from you ❤ And those days spent listening to the sad sad music and making…
I can imagine that you needed happiness to counteract all that sadness. Cherry Magic is definitely a good one. They always make me smile. https://c.tenor.com/u6fUrvZ8LlwAAAAd/cute-cherry-magic.gif What emotion will be next after anger and sadness? ^^
Wow, you spent so much time, effort and feelings on this article. I'm honestly impressed. 💕 It's been too long ago since I watched it to make me cry with 1 Litre of Tears but when you mentioned it, I remembered the litre of tears I cried while I watched the drama. The fact that it is based on a real person who actually had to go through this makes it so sad and this always makes me cry. The same with the movies A Resistance, Hitsudan Hostess, In the Absence and The Tenor Lirico Spinto. Sad endings with one or both leads dying always does the trick as well. If you're curious if you achieved to make me cry, I had watery eyes at "Mother" because what the parents did to their own child is just cruel and heartbreaking. It's why I can't watch that movie.
Love your article! Like you I have to dig deep in memories when I want to figure out how it started. I fell for men with long hair when I read manga and watched anime like Fushigi Yuugi (which is playing in an alternative historical Japan). The attachment of the wig is important. xD I might drop a drama if the hair work is really poorly done, it does need to look natural or I won't be able to un-see it. I don't know what white hair stands for in Chinese folklore (something worth doing a research on) but I kinda equal it with wisdom, power and/or pureness. Some of my favorites are Hua Wu Xie from As Flowers Fade and Fly Across the Sky (the drama is a feast when it comes to long hair), Ashile Sun and Mu Jin from The Long Ballad (the braided long hair is so beautiful), Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji from The Untamed, Wen Ke Xing from Word of Honor and a few more already featured in the article.
Perhaps you could possibly do this same concept but with more main stream/popular dramas for the newbies like…
That's actually a good idea, because I used non-popular dramas on purpose to make sure most people did not know them yet. For newbies I could use popular dramas.
Hi! I just found this list and I love the idea. Sorry to ambush you in the comment section but I haven't figured…
Hi, just asking back to make sure I got it right. xD You want to make a similar list with content parts of this one and include a link in your profile to my list? I'm totally ok with that. :) P.S.: Oh and to send a user a direct message you just need to go to their profile by clicking on their username and on the right top where it says "Add Friend" there's a letter symbol left to it. When you click on it, it automatically opens a new draft to send a message. :)
