Not at all - as I mentioned above, I do recommend the film.

A prolonged misunderstanding that had no reason for being beyond ‘we need some conflict here, guys’. It wasn’t something that needed a big discussion or something that was difficult to explain.

Thank you! However I must admit that I got to about episode 20 and it started to go super-tropey (in a not good way - some tropes I just love) - in the end I skipped forward to the last 5 episodes and just watched those but that’s just me...

As an aside to that, I love Zhang Han and I really like Xu Lu but in the end I am not sure they worked 100% well together.

God, the ML’s ‘friends’ are annoying...

Nah... the temporal paradoxes/causal loops and frustratingly bad science hurts my brain so my recommendation stands. Thank you for your viewpoint though!

I must disagree on one point.

Aoey sharing his feelings isn't one side of a contract. Gene has no obligation so share his emotions with a (let's face it) virtual stranger especially when he is having trouble reconciling them.

Aoey was attempting to 'call dibs' without taking into account Sib's feelings.
