I may have been scrolling at the time but I don’t understand how Yan Li can be the fake emperor’s son? Help…
I get the fake emperor bit and the twins bit but why was Li in such an exalted position, who was his mother? Why was he important when his father was ‘just a general’
She’s neither slow nor stupid. At worst, she’s naive.
What did they say in the previous episodes though? They did a deep dive into his background and he's got a cast iron background, even family, as Gao Xing. It would make anyone pause,
I would never call another woman stupid, even a fictional one.
That’s the reality. Men are just physically stronger. The only way a skilled female fighter can beat a man is…
Prove it. Cite your sources. Find revered, professional publications that back up your assertion that not a single woman on the planet woman could beat a man in a fair fight.
As far as the film is concerned, google 'dramatic effect' to understand whythe fight played out like it did.
I actually catch myself to use this as a reference drama to compare each time I see something really bad, as in:…
“Too old to play a romance lead” may be the silliest comment I’ve ever read on MDL. If you think romance has an age limit, you are either a child who lacks experience in the world, or…😬

Yes, they forget that what they know and what the FL knows are two different things. Now on 24 and ML tells her he’s going to explain and yet once again fails to do so. She has almost no mitigating information at this point.

Just watched ep22 (sister and boyfriend - oh so compromising) and now on ep23 where everyone is getting angry with the FL but no one is explaining anything to her. I’m frustrated for her 😬.
Omg and she breaks ML's heart even further in Ep 24...what is this?? SMH
Your English is fine (I should know, I’m an English teacher!).
She didn’t actually do anything wrong within the boundaries of the information she had. This is always the problem when the ML only communicates what he thinks the FL should know. To be fair, did he apologise for trying to kill her so many times?
On Ep 23 right now, and my opinion of FL only got worse. She's such a B, breaking ML's heart like that. She'd…
Watch it again but only watch the FL ‘s scenes. You’ll realise that what you know and what she knows at many points in the drama is not the same. You can’t judge her unless you understand what information she actually has and what drives her.
Everyone banging on about what an idiot the female lead is needs to go back and watch this again.
They need to look at the story from her point of view. What does she actually know for sure? She knows the script, she knows that the ML tried to kill her a bunch of times and she knows the character in the script is evil and manipulative.
We, as the audience, know a lot more but she doesn’t. She’s trying to work it out as she goes along with the base knowledge that she exists within a scripted drama, a drama where she fares badly.
