But yes i agree i think this drama is geared to millenials or older audiences. Its more realistic slice of life family drama portrayed how parents sacrifice their dreams etc for family and alot of times they take them forgranted. Especially gen z alpha etc whos all about social media internet etc.
They didnt grow up doing hard labor picking berries etc. Which gives them less importance on how to value parents or family money etc but become more selfish. And everything is about them which they did well portraying.
First boyfriend ex was rich n lazy no sense of responsibility. Perspective wise he did well what bf would do nowadays besides being responsible man and didnt stand his ground to protect his gf. His relationship with hua shows whats its loke with genz etc who iust want game or social media and expects hand outs etc instead of working hard themselves. Its like how in America tipping culture became insane. Working 9 to 5 is hard buying house is difficult etc. Just shows u how bad the generation regress and just wants things for free or do things halfass and just be given to them. Hopefully younger audiences can watch drama n learn to respect elders and working hard doesnt always pay off but builds integrity honesty n character

And ling er was eaten by beast n blows it up and u think she survived and after walking she collapse amd starts bleeding all over. Was rather unexpected n sad especially she was like she didnt want to leave instead of accepting her destiny n fate like this version did.
Both series r good this one had more action but some reason besides main lead Rest of cast didnt work for me. They shouldve also had him have bags the whole ponytail suits only certain actors can look good with.
