I feel like it's missing something. Maybe that's what it is, a male perspective. But I've seen some really good…
I dont think the problem (for me) is that its written by women but that it was written to appeal to young girls (who swoon over gay men.)
Like I said I‘m probably not the target audience anyway as I‘m 24 but it feels too childish for me. Of course its fiction but I dont know any young adult men who act like that. And maybe its also the fact that I‘m not thai so maybe the humor isnt for me either.
But to each their own.

Lol Q got so mad, he left and got a hair cut. Why do these series always have a problem keeping a consistency…
There is this gmmtv show called boy for rent. There was a similar problem (if not even more irritating) with the sml girl. Throughout the whole show her hair color constantly switched between black and brown.
No idea why they dont think about continuity with things like this.

Absolutely no hate to this cute little show but sometimes I feel like this was written and directed by a bunch of 13 year old girls that got all their information about boys in their early 20s from books they’ve read.
But I feel like I‘m probably not the target audience for this so its ok.

No no no.
Let a girl dream (they’re the main leads so they will inevitably end up together and Ming will have a redemption arc)

Haha. Same thoughts.
I really wonder why bl writers love that trope so much. From what I remember pitbabe and kinnporsche also had that (it wasnt as extreme as it being about their first kiss tho)

Boy is getting railed but wants to keep his FIRST kiss for someone he loves while he’s probably had sex with other people before.
Madness.

I wouldnt mind if they decided to make Joe bi so he can end up with Mings sister. And Ming and Tong can just be a toxic couple✨
On Boys Be Brave! May 10, 2024
Not every queer show needs to talk about what it means to be gay etc. Its nice to see the characters live out their sexualities without questioning it and it being a huge topic for the plot. Just like „straight people“ shows.
With that being said I do not get some comments that argue that this show has a „I‘m only gay for you“ trope.
Even before they showed that KiSub had ex boyfriends it never said he exclusively dated girls. Also JinWoo hadnt even liked anyone before KiSub. And while both of them are probably bi or pan we only saw InHo and BalgEum like each other. In what way does that point to the trope?

Lets normalize queer shows without queer pain. I dont wanna watch people get bullied and depressed because of their sexualities in every show.

Joe got in to the mess coz of his back ? I haven't watched the series yet,i will watch in few days,so should I…
What I‘m gonna say now isnt really a spoiler but how this show starts. So Joe is Tongs stunt double and Ming has a crush on Tong. Ming gives Joe a back hug when they meet for the first time because he mistakes Joe for Tong.
That’s essentially how their toxic relationship starts and as the synopsis says Ming sees Joe as a replacement especially from the back *wink*
So my comment was playing into that.
(Personally I dont think they really look alike from the back enough to confuse them but its for the plot)

For everyone thats sas that the second season got cancelled I‘d recommend the book. Its on wattpad but just a disclaimer wubin/guhai does something extremely unforgivable to wubin/bai lou yin and it took me a long him to continue reading the book after that.
So if that didnt just scare you completely I‘d recommend the books cause its batshit crazy and they have to go through crazy shit to stay together.

Ming's character is so toxic and Joe knows it as well .I don't understand why Joe doesn't accept it
A tale as old as time. Hes blinded be love.
I do hope some pokes him in the eye and brings him back to his senses,

I really HATE how they brushed the FANG/ TAN couple to the side. I want to know HOW their relationship ia going…
I know right. Does Fang even like Tan? Why does Tan like Fang? When did they start liking each other? How is their relationship going?
Those are some very basic questions the audience should be able to answer about a MAIN couple.
On We Are May 8, 2024
Title We Are
I feel bad for the actor playing Fang. Him and Tan are main characters but their relationship just started without any „conflict“ and now they’re basically just supporting characters. I feel like I know nothing about Fang or his personality besides him being Phums brother.
I know this show doesnt have much of a plot which is ok but I hope they still do sth with this couple because there are still 10 episodes left.

The poster looks pretty but imo it would fit the story more if Joe and Ming switched places. Joe got into that mess because of his back so it would feel right to have his back turned.

I really thought that childrens book was about to give us some really cool twist to the story but it was literally nothing. I couldnt even wrap my head around how little sense that whole thing made.
How did that noona just come to the conclusion that her boyfriends passing was because of her powers. I thought I missed sth up until Hanako told her he passed away from cancer.

That whole „plot twist“ is the perfect example that correlation ≠ causality. And for all of them being so highly educated (especially the prof) it’s frustrating that they didn’t immediately think that sth isnt adding up. Just seemed like lazy writing.

is this another drama about ml and fl separate time is more than time they're together and have break ups and…
This isnt some cute little delusional kdrama but its trying to showcase real people with real problems and emotions. She is a grown woman and he is a grown man who both have been in relationships before. Thats normal and not a red flag at all.
Btw she does not have a thing for her ex but I mentioned him because (spoiler alert) he stole money from her and she is trying to get it back. Thats the main reason that that ex is relevant to the drama and not because she still has a thing for him. And there is no best friend dynamic between mr gu and her at any point.
I‘m not trying to change your opinion but you should give it a watch. This drama is deep and has substance. While it’s surely not for everyone you might like it. If you want some cute little romcom dramas where you dont have to think too much I‘d recommend a business proposal, true beauty, weightlifting fairy, twinkling watermelon and hidden love just to name a few.

I‘m not exactly sure what youre trying to say with the first question. If youre asking if there is another drama of the the main leads (mr. gu and minjung) then no this is a stand alone. And there is a breakup but they kinda end up together.
She does talk about having dated other men but they’re not important to the story besides one ex.
There is no love triangle.
Hope this helped.
