I think theyre now filming the scenes where Zuer's already married and has a wifely hairdo, they'll do the scenes…
The transmigration plotline is what holds the story together. It justifies Xiao Man's decisions on plenty of levels. While I haven't enjoyed the novel that much, I still want the essence of the story remains, if only as a form of respect toward the author for having written it.

I agree that the Xianxia genre does allow for creativity. Besides, the Novoland hairstyle suited her facial features. She looked lovely. I do like the aesthetic of the few Xianxia dramas that I watched and that I enjoyed. It's just that I do not usually enjoy their plot and storyline as much as I would like to. I like xianxia in my novel but not on screen. Weird eh?
On a side note, I want to see Lareina sporting a republican period drama hairstyle. I think that both Li Bing Bing and Song Yi look the best in that specific hairstyle. Though, it might be my personal bias.
I visualized Qiao man's hairdo and makeup more like what Lareina had for Novoland: Eagle Flag. For the elegance and the youth of a 15-year-old teenager.
Yu Ning's black and white outfit as Wei Shao reminded me a bit too much of his wardrobe in Heroes. But then again it does suit him very much.
Let's see how it turns out. So far, I'm alright with the visual. I actually dropped The Truth after episode 9. I might resume it just to catch a glimpse of the two together. I think that they are a good match.
I'll be honest here. I only wanted to watch this drama because of Nancy. but 3 episodes in and we can agree that the execution is sloppy AF. Unsure if I care enough to see to the end of it.
I seriously had a tough time watching the call session in episode 11. Although I'm still happy to witness the conclusion of this show. I've never been much of a fan of reality shows in general with few exceptions for RuPaul's DR and cooking competitions. I will look forward to seeing more on the subject.
That being said, I hope for everyone to find their true love inside/outside the show.
I watched 10 episodes to realize now that Liao Yong Jia is THE Stephen Fung. OMG never recognized him with his salt and pepper stubble until this very moment.
i read that the reuploaded ver of this drama is censored? out of curiosity and if anyone knows, what was taken…
I didn't pay much attention to all the censoring throughout the show but the most striking one for me was when Munin came back home. While both versions were still blurred for censorship, we can clearly see that in the earlier released version Munin is the one who actually saw/discover Mutha's body hanging from the ceiling. In the newer version, it was cut altogether, jumping from the outdoor scene under the rain, then cropped to them rushing inside the hospital. Various shots of the hanging cord were also taken out, leaving only one with Mutha staring at it briefly.
